"Mr. Coffee is a hero who risks his health daily to help mitigate dangerous radon problems for strangers who call for help. This is a dangerous job with daily high radon exposure and when I asked, he said he is aware of the risks but gets his health scanned multiple times a year. I called Covenant Air back in December after noticing that my Safety Siren Pro radon detector kept reaching alarm. Mr. Coffee came out and assessed that I could probably fix the problem myself by sealing some obvious cracks, especially around some pipes, and recommended the products so that I can do it cheap DIY. He was obviously not pushy to scare people into signing contracts, but actually tried to dissuade me from hiring him right off on installing sub slab depressurization. Although the DYI route he recommended would've been cheaper, I hired him to performs the job. The sealing did bring the radon level down where my detector's alarm didn't go off, but I wanted to lower it as much as possible. He then recommended a passive ventilation route given my reading. The passive ventilation again slashed the radon level in half, but I wanted the radon level down even further, so I ultimately opted to install the fan after weeks of data collection and analysis. He installed the fan so that I could easily turn it off to save energy based on seasonal variations. He is a very personable and methodical person, and prefers to monitor the progress of his work so that his customers don't hastily incur unnecessary cost. You almost never see someone like that in the service industry, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

"Ken McGee and his team are the BEST. I work at Ace Exterminating Co and Ken and his team were on the spot and very perfessional. Our unit went down a few times and Ken kept trying to keep it alive. But we finally had to accept the fact that our AC unit after 20 years just couldn’t give any more. McGee Air Conditioning came out and gave our unit the proper burial it deserved and put in a new unit for the nexts 20 years. Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! "Our home has a garage that was converted into a den. The air flow to this room has always been weak. In fact we had too much flow at one end of the home and weak flow at the other.  In the winter, we always had a musty smell coming through the vents.  Mr. Wooley and his brother fixed all of it!  For 6 years we lived in this home and suffered sneezing and coughing.  No mas!  We are breathing easier with our new ductwork, and the flow of air is consistent throught the entire house as is the temperature.  Even our downstairs den is much more comfortable now than it's ever been.  Maybe we'll actually use that room in the winter time now!  I was thoroughly pleased with the work and the price.  The Wooley Brothers are good people.  I would use them again in a heartbeat.  The service tech came by after the work was complete to tune up the unit.  He found the reason why the unit had always been sweaty and fixed that too!  I had 2 different companies out to the house before trying to fix that issue, but no one had been able to do so before.  Mr. Wooley even came back and replaced the wet insulation.  He said he wanted to make sure the job was done right.  I am very impressed!

"My technician was very good but he was in a very big rush. He was originally very pleasant and performed well in not so nice conditions as my house air conditioner was not bringing cool air into the bathroom he was working in. It was uncomfortable in the bathroom so he might have wanted to escape the hot air. He did not screw the top of one of the fixtures well and I wanted the 2 fixtures to not be so tight when you turn them but he was in hurry so I said nothing. He took care of the problem like a Real Pro and I am thankful for him and Choice Home Warranty."
