"Ralphael and DeMarcus were upfront about pricing and process. Amazing gentlemen to work with. They initially did our patio and I was so pleased with both the price and the work that I went aheas and had them do my driveway and once my wife and I have saved up, our carport is next. I highly recommend Rich Finish fo any and all concrete needs. You won't be disapointed. Sincerely, Marcus Farrar"

"The quote was given the same day as requested. Mr. Mata does seem to know his business and I believe the estimate to be a true and reasonable estimate, given the work he was going to do. However, all we wanted was a cosmetic fix and we have decided to go with a wooden skirt facade instead of the poured foundation and concrete block wall above it."

"Very well. These guys know what they are doing. I wish I could upload photos. The transition to the existing concrete and lawn were well done. They do good detail and provide the asphalt in the thickness promised ( 3 inches). They saw to that the driveway drains properly and that the water ran away from my house. I look forward to having it sealed in 90 days. Henry said he would do that for 300 dollars."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

You don't technically need to seal your driveway after pressure washing, but doing so will help keep your driveway clean for longer. The best driveway sealer depends on the type of driveway you have. To seal asphalt, consider an asphalt emulsion sealer, fast-drying sealer, or latex acrylic sealer. Concrete driveways commonly use acrylic sealers or penetrating sealers.

There’s no legal requirement that states that you need rebar in a concrete driveway, but since the slab will be supporting heavy vehicle loads, it’s always a good idea to pay a bit more for rebar reinforcement. Your driveway will be much more likely to crack if you don’t reinforce it with rebar. Driveways that need to support commercial vehicles or provide parking for multiple vehicles at once should always include rebar reinforcement. If you’re pouring concrete over asphalt or pouring concrete over an existing slab, you may not have enough depth for rebar, meaning an increased risk of cracking.

You shouldn’t directly paint over an oil stain on your asphalt driveway. While painting over might visually conceal the stain, the oil will continue to damage the driveway. Once you’ve noticed the oil stain, it’s important to thoroughly remove it within the next few months since oil stains only take six months before they begin to damage the structure of your asphalt driveway.

If there is standing liquid on your concrete, remove it before attempting any of the above cleaning methods. For small amounts of water, use rags, a bucket, and a mop. For larger areas of liquid, lay down cat litter or baking soda to soak up the water first. If you have extremely large pools of water sitting on your concrete, break out the wet vac and get to work.

Pressure washers are better for residential use. Power washers are best suited for cleaning very hard surfaces (like concrete and cement) and removing tough stains or tacked-on grime. Meanwhile, pressure washers have more uses. For example, you can use one to deep clean a wooden fence, spray down your vinyl siding, or clear out your gutters.
