Fabrication and installation of granite, marble, and engineered stone countertops.

"Would not recommend this company to anyone. The cook top cutout was too big. Had to reorder new cook top to fit hole. The installer walked out the door and said "be carefull and don't knock or hit your cook top or it will fall thru" Installer used comet to clean the counter top of the adhesive and since comet has a green tint my seam has a greenish tint to it. Hopefully it will fade. Also, they need to inform customers they do not put the faucets back in. I have never had counter tops installed before and was not aware they do not do that. My friends came by to see it and all of them said when they placed their order they were told they needed to have faucets installed and to plan accordingly. I sent Angela an email on Aug 3rd and was told she would have the owner look at the pictures I sent. I waited over a week to give them a chance to address my issues. I try to do business with local companies I will continue to do so but will be more careful in the future"

Repair Granite Countertops questions, answered by experts

Yes, onyx is more expensive than granite because of its rarity, delicate nature, and specialized care. Its luxurious appearance and ability to be backlit also add to the cost, making it a premium choice for homeowners.

No, you do not need a diamond blade to cut Corian®. Diamond blades are used to cut very hard materials, including concrete, brick, asphalt, and natural stone, like granite. Even though Corian® is very hard and durable, it is not actually made of stone, making a diamond blade unnecessary. A tungsten carbide triple chip grind blade works best for cutting Corian®.

It is advisable to have stone countertops inspected every few years, especially if damage is noticed. Regular maintenance and inspection help catch and resolve issues early, extending the countertops' lifespan.

Since marble is a porous material, it is more prone to water spots than other countertop options. Fortunately, pure water doesn’t damage your marble, but if the water is acidic, it can cause stains or water spots. Resealing throughout the year can help increase marble’s water resistance, too.

Quartzite is a natural stone, while engineered quartz is artificial, including a mix of mined ground quartz and manufactured polymer resins and pigments. You should clean both types of stone with non-abrasive cleaners with a low or neutral pH. That means skipping cleaners with vinegar or acids, plus wire brushes and scouring pads.
