Customers say: Super punctual

"Mr. Harris was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping, hardscaping, water features and more. They were meticulous in their work and did not overlooked anything. Landscaping Services took what was once a jungle and creared something Beautiful, with a dry creek bed of river rocks to manage drainage, bushes that attract butterflies, and a sprinkling system. Our back yard is now maintenance free. It is a gorgeous space that we will enjoy for years to come"

"Fanel American Pavers did an awesome job in paving my patio area. The area looks amazing and I would definitely call for future projects. They even cleaned around the area that didn’t required paving. After the job was complete they cleaned up the area and left everything nice and neat. Thanks Fanel American Pavers."

"Dave and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They kept me advised on a daily basis about the work to be done. Dave goes above and beyond to make things right. His team has ingenious ways to cover small gaps and small stone cuts that make the paving look great. I was pleased with their work and hired them again to build a courtyard near the pool!"

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

Yes, pea gravel is good for driveways as long as your driveway isn’t built on a hill or any type of slope where it can slide. It’ll settle on a flat surface and create a suitable driveway over time, though some spreading initially will take place. If you're wondering how to make a gravel driveway in a high-rainfall area, using pea gravel could help you to cut down on costs needed for extra drainage solutions.

After removing existing moss, consider using paver blocking sand to fill the joints. This specialty material hardens once placed and serves as an effective barrier against moss and weeds. From there on, regularly clean your pavers and try to keep them dry. You can also seal your paver as a semi-permanent solution — just make sure you reseal every 3 to 5 years.

The dimensions of a driveway apron vary based on local building codes, the width of your driveway, and the distance between the driveway and the road. On average, aprons range from 12 to 24 feet wide and 8 to 18 feet long. Typically, the end of the apron connected to the driveway matches its width—such as 10 to 12 feet for a single-car driveway—while the end at the street flares out to allow cars to turn in and out more easily. In some areas, you may not be responsible for the portion of the apron that extends beyond the sidewalk, but this depends on local laws.

Cobblestone driveways can take a major hit on anyone's bank account, begging the question of whether it's worth it to build a cobblestone driveway. Some homeowners might prefer more affordable driveway materials like concrete or pavers, which can give a similar appearance to cobblestone without the high price tag.

Paving your driveway costs between $2,500 and $6,600, to put that in perspective. But for others, there’s nothing quite like the timeless look of cobblestone driveways.
