"I hired Shawn and company to clean up 5 acres in Scottsboro. The previous company came in stole my wood and left a disaster that caused flooding and slope damage. Shawn came in at a affordable price, cleared, resloped and planted and in less than a week and made it beautiful. This was a huge job since the previous company used a logging compay to come in and steal the wood. When we caught them it was too late but they left in a hurry and left droped trees and loggs everywhere. We had terrible wash out and property you could not even enjoy. Shawn came in and fixed it and called keeping in touch every day they were working and the men he sent to work were wonderful. Walter and his son were professional and extreamly friendly, I really missed them when they were done. We have hired him for more work. They are wonderful! Skunk digging looks like a series of small, cone-shaped holes on a lawn or around the perimeter of a home, porch, deck, or shed. The holes that skunks dig when searching for grubs tend to be no more than four inches in diameter and may be up to four inches deep.

Water lines are buried at various depths, depending on the type of line. For example, most sprinkler lines are buried between four and 12 inches underground. Trenching is a specific kind of digging. Trenching means digging a depression in the earth that’s deeper than it is wide, often with heavy machinery. Digging refers to any kind of removal of earth in order to create a human-made depression, hole, or cut in the earth’s surface. You can dig with big tools or even with just a hand shovel.

Professional installers often include a deep layer of crushed gravel under permeable pavers to allow more runoff to soak through into the soil below. Many installations will include multiple layers of gravel, with coarser aggregate at the base and finer aggregate that sits on top of that bottom layer. Above the gravel, you’ll often find coarse sand that helps reduce paver shifting over time. Some permeable paver designs include a water collection system set into the gravel layer to route runoff to a safe area for disposal.

Finishing a crawl space beyond this isn’t really worthwhile, as the low ceilings mean you won’t be able to use the area as living space.
