"We have a very positive experience with this company today. They showed up on time and were very courteous and professional. They completed an inspection and discovered that we were having a mice issue. They did not charge us for the inspection and gave us some helpful information. Other companies with whom I spoke would have charged us for that evaluation. I highly recommend this company if you have any issues with possible wildlife invading your home. It was important for me to leave this review so that others can have the same type of positive experience that we did today."

"I can always count on them to do a wonderful job and promptly. They even came out and reinspected prior work when a bird interfered with it. They had it back together in 15 minutes and then said, "no charge.""

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

When it comes to keeping birds from doing their business on your porch rails, you have several DIY options and home remedies you can try:

  • Tie a fishing line from one end of the deck post to the other. Birds won’t be able to see the line across the railing, so they can’t land on it.

  • Hang wind chimes close by, which may scare birds away.

  • Apply a bird gel repellent to the railings, which contains smells that birds generally don’t like. Or, similarly, you can apply citronella or lemon oil around the railings, since birds don’t like strong smells.

It is possible, though unlikely, that a home insurance policy will help cover the costs of professional bat removal. However, some policies will chip in for guano removal and associated repairs, such as replacing drywall. Take some time to read the fine print of your homeowner’s insurance policy and call your provider to inquire about bat removal, guano removal, and related repairs.

Many different types of animals like to build nests in attics. The types may vary depending on your home’s condition and location and you can prevent them by sealing off entry points and eliminating food sources. The most common critters that like to build nests in your attic include:

  • Raccoons

  • Bats

  • Squirrels

  • Mice

  • Rats

Maintain sealed entry points, use deterrents like spikes or sonic devices, and keep areas clean to discourage nesting.

Popular nesting areas outside of a home include eaves, porches, gutters, and chimneys. However, some birds can make their way into your attic or ventilation systems. A reputable removal service will inspect your home's interior and exterior for any evidence of roosting and nesting birds while they prepare to remove them.
