"Vernes did an outstanding job for us. He was on-time, friendly, polite and made sure we were happy with his service. We could not be happier with the professionalism and work he did for us. We will certainly hire him again for additional tree and landscaping work!"

"First of all, Marty was very professional and the staff very friendly.  But, I would give the cleaning a B.  Some things were missed that surprised me. Some carpet had been missed, a toilet base was not cleaned at all, a bathtub was not wiped clean, a number of surfaces were not touched and some small damage done to one of my blinds.  Also, it is good to be aware that young teens come in to help as well.  However, looking at all the good reviews, I believe they may normally do a very good job.

"It was great working with Top-Notch Carpentry and Remodel! We moved into a house that had painted wood floors. Terrible decision by the previous owners but Andy and his team were able to sand everything down and get it stained. They look incredible now. HUGE upgrade to the house. Guys were great to work with, responsive, and go the job done. Thank you!"

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts

It is advisable to have stone countertops inspected every few years, especially if damage is noticed. Regular maintenance and inspection help catch and resolve issues early, extending the countertops' lifespan.

Sealing is essential to keep your flagstone looking new for as long as possible. If you don’t seal flagstone, the surface can wear and stain. It also helps protect the stone’s natural texture. Just make sure you choose a matte sealant to avoid making your stone slippery like a glossy sealant can.

Due to soapstone's non-porous nature and antimicrobial properties, you don’t need to seal it like other stone materials like marble or granite. However, even though sealing isn't required, it can enhance soapstone's natural stain resistance. Another protective option is to apply mineral oil once per month.

Professionals remove scratches, stains, and etching, restoring the stone’s natural shine and extending its lifespan.

The cost of stone restoration typically ranges from $5 to $10 per square foot. The final price depends on several factors, including the type of stone, the extent of the damage, the level of polish required, and the labor intensity of the job.
