"Darell did the work. He's very professional and friendly. He did an outstanding job. There were some unforeseen items but he handled them very well. Darell also informed me as to what was next. I really appreciated him keeping me informed. I am so proud of the finished projects. Thank you Darell and Hill Country Tub and Shower for top quality products and workmanship."
"Tim and Nick were absolutely wonderful. I have waited to remove my jacuzzi tub for years, and now I have a safe and beautiful shower. Nick even added additional grab bars for me to feel more confident and secure. I would absolutely recommend the whole crew at Your Home Improvement Company to anyone looking for a bathroom remodel!"
"David crawled into our crawl spaces, inspected our waterproofing system, did testing and maintenance on all three sump pumps and left us in great shape for spring rains. Exactly as promised and great value."

"The business saw and noticed the damage gutted out half the bathroom and replaced the damaged floor and then replaced the tub and shower. They blended all new work done perfectly into anything that wasnt replaced."
"It went very well. Despite the fact that I live in Tennessee and this company is in Boston, they helped me a great deal. I can't remember what I actually paid them, but it seemed reasonable for what I got: unlimited access to the decorator's assistance. I had already chosen some of the elements needed for my bathroom remodel, but got bogged down over colors/curtains/light fixtures at the end. I just needed some help in tying everything together. Their decorator (Amanda Zettel) and I worked mainly through Pinterest; I made a board of my bathroom, using pictures of what I'd chosen already, and she sent me links to items that she thought I would like in categories that I needed. We also talked over the phone several times, and emailed, too. I believe Homemade Design will also help you with vendors and purchasing, though I didn't use that service. Amanda did send me to some new websites, and I chose my bathroom lights from one of them. Amanda helped me choose the finish, the shades, and the placement of the fixtures, which I love. They are unique and charming - thanks, Amanda! She also sent me several names of paint colors to chose from for the bath. Because of the variations in computer screen colors, some people might not be comfortable with this, but I wanted to be the one who actually picked the color. I just felt a little overwhelmed at the huge selection, so Amanda was able to narrow my choices to a range that I could live with. The color has been up on my wall for over a month now, and I'm very happy with it. All in all, this was a very good experience, and I will definitely use Jeff and Amanda's help again!"
"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

Yes, you can fix a shower diverter in many cases, depending on the specific problem. If hard water buildup is the issue, you can disassemble and clean your diverter. You may also be able to replace specific components when they break or wear down. All diverters are different, so when replacing parts, you’ll need to make sure you purchase a repair kit that’s compatible with your specific model.
Older faucet fixtures may have some corrosion, leaving them stuck. Try a few techniques to loosen the fixtures.
Wrap the fixture with a towel and tap the base with a hammer.
Use a putty knife to gently remove any caulk that may be holding the handle or fixture in place.
Apply a few drops of penetrating oil around the base of the fixture or around the nuts.
Purchase a faucet pulling tool to pop the fixture loose.
The most common reasons a toilet won’t stop running are a faulty flapper or fill valve, improper fill height, or incorrect chain length. Luckily, all these issues are relatively easy to fix with parts you can find at a local hardware store. You can also call a plumber or toilet repair professional to solve the problem.
A handyperson with basic plumbing experience can install a bathroom faucet, like the kind of skills you’d need to replace a P-trap or swap out a showerhead. They may not have deep knowledge of local plumbing code, though. If your faucet installation requires work on the pipes behind the wall or under the floor, hire a licensed plumber with the necessary training and licensing.
You might need a permit to modify or repair any portion of your plumbing system, including drainage lines, depending on where you live. In some areas, simple replacements of existing drain lines don’t require a permit. We recommend asking your drain pipe installer or your local building department about permitting requirements. In many cases, only certified plumbers can pull plumbing permits, so you’ll usually need to leave the permit application to your professional. The fee for the permit will be passed to you on your project bill, though.
