"We switched out the vanity top and bathtub for a walk in shower for our 87 year old father. We love the results! What a beautiful product. Installation was completed within one day and the contractors were fast, professional and respectful of the home environment. The sales rep, Tony, was very knowledgeable of the product and had answers for all our questions. Definitely recommend this company."

"This has been the easiest and best remodel we have done. Both of the installers, Dave and Matt are very well versed in all facets of the remodel. I felt very comfortable in just letting them "do their thing" and the results are better than could be expected at the beginning. I cannot recommend them enough for being professional, polite and very hard workers. Very attentive to not leaving a mess when they leave. I am very pleased with the result, but would easily invite the "guys" to dinner if they were available!! Excellent results!! Along with Dave and Matt, Foster and Sean were equally professional and attentive to the overall excellence of the project. All in all, this is far better than we could have wished for, and would recommend them for any remodel . This company is fortunate to have these gentlemen working for them.!!"

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

Enhances openness and adds a sleek, modern look to the space.

Labor is the most expensive part of a bathroom remodel. If you’re doing a major remodel, structural changes (such as moving walls) and plumbing reconfiguration can be costly. For a standard remodel, the big-ticket items include tiles and new tub or shower fixtures.

Whether converting a tub to a shower is worth it depends on your personal circumstances and priorities. For many, a shower is a safer option that reduces the risk of slip-and-fall accidents, making it a valuable upgrade. It can also be a worthwhile conversion if a shower is more practical for your lifestyle and you rarely use the tub. However, there are potential downsides to consider. The cost, which can range from $1,200 to $8,000, can be a deterrent. Additionally, if you have young children, a bathtub is often easier for bathing them. Finally, removing the only bathtub in a home can potentially lower its resale value in the eyes of some buyers.

If you are fortunate enough to have a renovation budget of $100,000, your budget can take you pretty far. Considering the average cost to renovate a home in the U.S. is about half of that, it should be enough for several upgrades and aesthetic improvements. The actual cost will depend on factors like the size of the home, material choices, and whether you hire remodeling contractors or take a DIY approach.

Yes, most bathrooms can be converted into a wet room, but the process often involves extensive renovations. Key requirements include having proper plumbing and the ability to slope the floor slightly for drainage. The conversion process typically requires removing the existing floors to install drainage, replacing drywall with waterproofed cement backer board, waterproofing the walls, and installing new fixtures to create an open, curbless shower space. A skilled home renovation professional can evaluate your bathroom to determine if it's a suitable candidate. It's also worth considering resale value; if you only have one bathroom, converting it to a wet room might not be ideal as many homebuyers prefer to have at least one bathtub.
