"Totally Excellent! Jon and the Crew at ERE flattened out about a 1 acre square of my property (future building site) Perfectly! And it was a gnarly pit to start with full of boulders and old items like water heaters and car fenders as it was evidently a dump site for the neighborhood before I got here. Finished the project quickly and to my complete satisfaction, I recommend ERE to Everyone for your next Excavation project, big or small Jon can handle em All!"

"Casen did an amazing job removing the bushes in my front yard, laying a beautiful bed of mulch, and replanting the bushes I had purchased. He was professional, knowledgeable, and provided great recommendations throughout the project. His work was completed quickly and exceeded my expectations. The transformation has definitely increased the curb appeal and value of my home. I highly recommend Casen to anyone looking for quality landscaping work!"

As a local member of the community, I have been in the construction industry for just over 10 years. With experience ranging from general construction needs, to light electrical, and plumbing I have the knowledge it takes to complete a job on time and with excellent quality. \n\nWhy pay more for a large contractor to provide you a simple service when you can save money and have some peace of mind knowing a local member of the community is taking care of your needs and providing exactly what you need.

Excavating questions, answered by experts

Some two-in-one tools and machines do both jobs, and those could be the right solution for smaller residential projects. However, the phrase “use the right tool for the job” definitely applies to digging. For the best results, get two separate tools for your trenching and landscape edging projects or call a pro to take care of everything for you.

A mini excavator can dig between 5 and 11 feet deep, depending on the type and size of the mini excavator. Mini hydraulic excavators are more powerful and can reach deeper into the earth, but electric models have a more limited range. Mini excavators over two tons in size are also more powerful and able to dig as deep as 11 feet.

Whether you grind or dig up and remove your tree stump depends on your landscaping goals. Using a stump grinder leaves the root system in place for it to decompose over time, whereas digging up the tree stump removes the roots and the stump. Overall, stump grinding is a far simpler process since you won’t need to deal with the roots. Stump removal will make your yard look like a demolition site, but you’ll have an easier time replanting in the same place as your former tree.

To drill a shallow well, you may be able to use a drive well point. This is a tapered point that is driven into the ground. A drill bit at the end of PVC pipe may be another option to consider. A lot of the cost depends on what tools are available near you.

Completion time ranges from days to weeks, contingent on project size, environmental conditions, and regulatory approvals.
