They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

While you can do either, it’s easier to paint your baseboards before your walls. Painting baseboards first lets you tape off the trim instead of the walls. Also, it’s easier to cover up any mistakes on the walls since you’ll eventually paint them.

With a protective top coat, fiberglass door paint will last two or more years. Sometimes, this life span can be even shorter depending on what elements the door is exposed to. Conditions like heavy rain and snowfall don’t usually cause issues, but high temperatures and direct sunlight can quickly lead to cracking and bubbling. 

The best sheen depends on your needs. Satin and eggshell sheens are often recommended for siding since their lightly reflective finish can help hide imperfections while being relatively easy to clean. Semi-gloss sheen is a great fit for trim since it’s incredibly easy to clean and more durable and moisture-resistant than satin and eggshell, but if you use it for the entire surface, its more reflective properties can highlight imperfections. This is also why high-glass sheen isn’t a great fit for the entire surface.

Many DIYers like to spray paint cabinets because it provides a more even-looking finish than painting with a brush. However, getting comfortable with a spray painter takes time and without practice, you may not spray the surfaces evenly. Take some time to practice painting with a HVLP sprayer on cardboard or scrap wood before diving into your project.
