We do not manufacture windows or doors for homes nor do we use Insulated glass. Strafford Window Mfg. manufacturers custom wood windows for barns, sheds, stables, pool houses, cabin, porches and interior applications in the home. Our windows are made of all wood and single strength glass. Call for pricing on Tempered glass. Strafford Window MFG. manufactures Sashes, Transoms, Single Hung Window Units, Hopper Window Units, Fixed Window Units and Screens.

"These windows are solid, well built and look great. I will be ordering more for my house."

We are a small business run by brothers, who have a drive and passion to produce only Quality products and aren't willing to cut any corners, instead we are constantly looking for ways to improve on our design, construction, and finish. Our father is the owner of the company and plays a big role in advising business decisions, having run a construction company for about 25 years. There are ten people currently working in our shop and office, to design your custom cabinetry and build it. Our goal and mission is to Glorify Our God through our workmanship and customer service. We also support missions and hope to continue to do so.

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Regular cleaning, sealing ductwork, and ensuring proper airflow paths keep systems functioning optimally, maintaining energy efficiency.

To get rid of humidity in your bathroom, you’ll need to increase ventilation and minimize moisture. Install an exhaust fan or dehumidifier. Crack a window. Remove wet towels and clothing. Wipe down surfaces to reduce standing water or condensation. You can even install an anti-fog mirror. Taking shorter baths and showers can help, too.

Not every bathroom needs an exhaust fan. If you have a window in the bathroom, you can get many of the same benefits by opening the window. Moisture in window-less bathrooms can damage your wallpaper, paint, drywall, and wood. It can also result in mold growth, resulting in lung issues, skin irritation, and other health issues. You may need an exhaust fan if your bathroom regularly seems stuffy, traps in smells for a long time, or is prone to mold or mildew growth.

To lower humidity quickly, run a dehumidifier or your home's air conditioner or turn on exhaust fans to extract moisture. These methods can quickly and effectively bring your home's humidity levels to a comfortable condition. However, you should consistently practice humidity-reducing tasks to maintain proper indoor humidity levels.

Fan power is measured by CFM, or cubic feet per minute. For every 1,000 feet of square footage in your attic, you need a minimum of 700 CFM. Steeper roofs may need larger fans or about 840 CFM.  You can figure the size of attic fan you need by multiplying the square footage of your attic floor by 0.7. (multiply by 1.2 for a steep roof and 1.15 for a dark roof). That number is the CFM required for your fan to run efficiently.
