Hardy Counters & Floors specializes in Resinous Coatings and Concrete Polishing and Staining. We are located on the Eastern side of South Dakota and service the entire 5 state area. Hardy's owner Chad Leddy grew up in Watertown SD and has been contracting for over 10 years. As the industry has grown so has Chad and his staff. Polymer coatings are very durable and cost efficient but take a lot of knowledge and experience to use them and apply them correctly. Strafford Window Mfg. manufacturers custom wood windows for barns, sheds, stables, pool houses, cabin, porches and interior applications in the home. Our windows are made of all wood and single strength glass. Call for pricing on Tempered glass. If you’re still not sure, play it safe and give the self-leveling compound two days to dry before you begin the tiling process.

No, you cannot permanently seal concrete. The porous nature of concrete means that it’s always vulnerable to water intrusion and staining, even under the best sealants. Although some concrete sealing products can last for a long time, a genuinely permanent concrete seal remains elusive.

Factors like the time of day you choose to seal the concrete, temperature, humidity, and airflow will impact drying time. To shorten the drying time, seal concrete in the late afternoon on a day with a temperature between 45 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sealing the concrete before tiling is recommended to help it stand up against any water that may seep through the tiles or grout. After thoroughly cleaning the concrete with TSP, priming with a concrete primer will seal the concrete.
