"I googled someone that could help me by decorating my tree. I am no longer able to do it myself due to many health challenges. Angie’s popped up first. So I asked about someone to do this job at 10pm. Jason answered my plea within minutes. We set up the job and he was very punctual. Upon meeting he and his sweet wife I KNEW they were the RIGHT ones for the job. They got right to work and tackled the job very promptly and efficiently. They were so friendly and continued to ask if I was happy with how things were looking. 1 hour later and they created a beautiful MASTERPIECE!!! It is my “happy” and “peaceful” looking piece. Thank you so very much for providing this service for me. I recommend Jason to do any job you may need professionally and productively."

"I am extremely happy with the results. I never thought I'd see my porch/walkway get this clean. It looks like it did 15yrs ago when I bought my home. Thank you! 2 thumbs up and I'd give more stars if I could!"

"Travis did an amazing job. He came and cleared out so much junk and debris and old fallen trees from our backyard and hauled everything away. He got the job done right and super fast. Will be hiring again soon!"

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

It’s important to make sure the wood on a new deck is properly seasoned. Seasoning a deck is simple: Once you build it (or have a pro do so), just leave it alone so it can acclimate to the environment. If you don’t give the deck proper seasoning time before staining, the stain can lock in any lingering moisture and cause mold, rot, and other moisture issues down the road. Give the wood at least four to eight weeks to season before you stain.

The best base materials for a ground-level or floating deck are typically gravel and crushed stone (also known as landscaping rocks). These options are inexpensive, provide excellent drainage, prevent weeds, and help minimize moisture buildup, which reduces shifting and rotting. For added stability and to evenly distribute the weight, you can use concrete deck blocks or pavers. While more expensive, concrete blocks and pavers offer a sturdier base than gravel or crushed stone alone.

You can add a roof to most decks, but you need to have it inspected first. If your deck didn’t come with a roof initially, it may not be able to handle the weight without some structural changes. You can add additional supports to your existing deck to safely add a roof, and tying your deck’s roof to an exterior wall can help add some structural stability, but remember these aren’t DIY projects and need to be left to a pro.

No, your deck will not rot under artificial grass as long as it is installed properly. When installed correctly, the artificial grass features a drainage system that prevents rotting. Simply laying artificial grass on top of the decking without proper installation will not lead to an effective drainage system that prevents rotting.

Yes, adding a composite deck, such as one made from Trex, can significantly increase your home's value. It is a valuable home renovation for recouping costs, with some estimates for return on investment (ROI) ranging between 60% and 70%. More recently, Remodeling's 2024 Cost vs. Value Report suggests a deck addition has an ROI of 82.9%, with an average resale value of nearly $14,600. A new deck makes your yard more functional, enhances the landscape's aesthetic, and can entice prospective buyers. The investment may have a higher return if the deck adds usable square footage to the property.
