Once he was done, he took his time to explain what he found and provided us with picture so we could make an informed decision. We talked through the different options. We then made the decision to go with Mighty Dog Roofing. He explained the next steps. The process went quickly for us. They came out on a Monday and started work on Thursday of the same week. What stands out to us is that we were kept informed every step of the way. In our case we had to do a full roof replacement. The crew that worked on our roof were very polite and professional. While you’re having new siding installed, it’s a good time to evaluate what else your home may need. Apply a fresh coat of paint before you add new siding. Gutter maintenance is also a popular choice for people installing board and batten siding. Combining related outdoor tasks can save on labor costs by bundling services and hourly rates.

The easiest way to remove stucco is to use a circular saw with a diamond blade to cut small squares out, pry them off, and then cut the metal lath behind it with tin snips. It’s possible to do everything with a hammer and a crowbar, but it will take significantly longer and will wear you out more quickly. Plus, you’ll have a higher risk of damaging windows, hidden siding, and sheathing if you go the less precise route.
