"I was very pleased on how this all went. After several attempts to get estimates from other painters who never came through, I found Fresh Coat on Angie’s List. They came out as promised to look at my house and I had a written estimate within days. Everything was spelled out on the contract and any questions I had were promptly answered. The owner, Jimmy comes out on the day the work starts and goes over everything again to make sure all is in order. They take their time with the prep and the painters came every day until the work was finished. Jimmy then comes out again to walk around to make sure everything is done correctly. Any mistakes were quickly corrected. I also have a warranty! I will be calling again!"

Stucco repair can best be described as a patch. It involves identifying the problem and fixing that specific damage with additional stucco. If no mold infiltration or an underlying leak is causing the damage, repair is most likely all you need. 

Remediation, on the other hand, involves removing the existing siding, fixing the underlying cause of the damage, and then reapplying stucco siding for that wall. It’s a more permanent fix that takes longer to complete and, hence, comes with a steeper price tag than repair.

Quikrete will set without mixing. The process of pouring dry concrete into your concrete form and then adding water is called dry pouring. While this method makes pouring concrete simpler and easier, it reduces its strength and durability. It's important to note that curing is different from drying. While the surface of the stucco may dry relatively quickly within a few hours or days, the curing process continues beneath the surface, strengthening and solidifying the stucco. 

It's best to avoid excessive moisture exposure during the curing period, as it can impede the curing process. The exact curing time can vary based on factors such as temperature, humidity, and the specific stucco mixture used.
