"Nick and Isak did a wonderful job! I haven't had cleaned my dryer vent for about two years and it was super dirty and clogged. They cleaned everything inside and outside, cleaned everything around and even helped with my furniture! They explained all the details and offered a free inspection of my ac unit. They are so nice, polite and responsible, work fast. I would definitely reach out to them again and leave more than 5 stars if possible"

"McKeever and partner arrived on time and cheerful. He inspected the fireplace, gave an estimate and offered suggestions. He used the proper materials for the job and went the extra mile by including pointing? to some areas not including in quote. They left the job site tidy and secure. I also felt comfortable with the cost. I am a Realtor and had been looking for a "licensed" masonry contractor I could trust and depend on for client needs. Now I have one."

"I got 3 quotes on installing a new heat pump at my mother's home.  The work also included removing a gas furnace from the attic and running some new electrical wiring.  Everyone I dealt with --from the office staff to the technician who came to look at the job-- were very professional.  They were prompt and efficient.  My experience was excellent.

"I've actually called Rapid Repair Plumbing for several jobs now to include one at 11 PM on a Sunday night after the sewer clogged in one of my rentals. Dennis was out there the next morning and had the line clear and problem fixed before 11 AM! He's offered multiple ways for me to save money like reminding me a faucet was under lifetime warranty and not to pay for a new one, that he would do the paperwork! As an out of town military landlord, this company has saved me time, money and given me peace of mind! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Appliances typically connected to a gas line include gas stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and gas fireplaces. Essentially, any appliance in your home that uses gas needs to be connected to a gas line, which connects your home with the main gas line owned and operated by your gas company.

Most likely, a gas plumber would be the best pro for many components in your home, and you might not even realize it. Natural gas plumbers are responsible for maintaining and installing natural gas lines, including installing appliances that use natural gas. These can include:

  • Fireplaces

  • Water heaters

  • Furnaces

  • Hot tubs

  • Clothes dryers

  • Ovens

  • Outdoor grills

Gas plumbers are also the pros that would handle a natural gas leak in your home, so it's essential to know the signs of a gas leak before it becomes a dangerous situation.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.

The cost of a gas grill burner ranges from $10 to $100 or more, depending on the brand. If you’re replacing one burner, consider replacing all the burners simultaneously. Although it will cost more upfront, it will save you the hassle of replacing a burner every few months, and your grill will cook more evenly and efficiently.

All U.S. states require permits for gas grill installation, so you’ll have to get one before you move forward with your project. Permits help ensure that the gas line runs safely to avoid gas leaks and explosions. Gas line permits can usually also only be pulled by certified plumbers, which means you’ll have to hire a professional from the start. The permit for a gas line installation for a gas grill usually costs between $100 and $300. You can contact your installation company or building department for more accurate pricing.
