I owned a bath and kitchen remodeling business specializing in granite countertops until the recession in 2008. I then changed careers and moved into aerospace manufacturing. I’ve been doing odd jobs and some specialized woodworking for the past few months and it’s been awesome. I set my own schedule. I get to go out and meet people and create things with my hands. I don’t have a boss down my back. The customer is the only person I have to satisfy. Life is really good.
