He has done electrical, plumbing, and built in shelves, especially at the mobile park. It is hard to find contractors to do the work, but he is available, affordable, and worth the money. He put in more time to get the job done, he was timely and made sure the project got done."

We do forestry mulching, lot clearing, dirt work, demolition, driveways, pond bank clearing, debris hauling and more. We currently have 2 skid steers with attachments, a mid size excavator with attachments, tractors and dump trailers. We are licensed and insured. Jahn Hultgren is an ISA Certified Arborist (SO-6542A) who is very knowledgeable about trees. He highly values trees and the aesthetic value they add to your property and our community. Hultgren Tree Service is fully insured. General Liability AND Worker's Compensation certificates are available upon request.
"Jahn and Bob were at our house the next day after submitting our request. They were friendly, informative and professional. Jahn provided copies of insurance papers even before we inquired, gave a reasonable written estimate and a short window to starting the tree removal. They began tree removal in less than a week and had the project completed within about 10 days, including a weekend and our add-on requests. Jahn even sent some perspective photos from treetop height and some ground-level photos during the process. They removed a total of 7 large trees, ground 13 stumps, removed some leftover decaying stacked firewood (from hurricane damage several years ago), hauled all trees and debris (except for a few pieces of maple one of my sons wanted to keep for his knife making hobby) and cleaned the work areas nicely. The brick fences and the house were unscathed. While we might have been able to find a lower overall price from another tree service, Jahn has a strong reputation in the area for providing top notch tree service. Given the potential risk from felling trees so close to our house, this was a great choice."

"When I called Mike for an estimate, he came the next day, looked over the area and gave me a quote while he was here. He also said that if I would get wheat straw and grass seed, they would go ahead and spread those for me after they finished grading. He said it would be a couple of weeks before he could get to my yard due to other jobs he had going on, which was fine. During that time, he stayed in contact with me and got to it when he said he would. I had a bad car accident several days prior to his coming to work on my yard. When he got here, I explained that I wasn't able to get the seed and straw because of the accident and the injuries sustained and I would have to take care of that myself at a later time. He got his guys started and left. A little while later he came back with the wheat straw and grass seed on his truck. He picked them up for me because of the accident so that I wouldn't have to worry about handling that later. He proved to me that there is some human kindness left in the world. They tilled up the problem areas, smoothed out the dirt, and then spread the grass seed and wheat straw. He and his guys got the job finished just like I wanted it and they were all very professional. It feels wonderful to be able to walk in my yard again without fear of either me or my dogs blowing knees due to stepping in holes. I will be calling on him again when I need work done and I will be referring him. Mike Steger is a great man and makes sure that the job is done right!"
