"We wanted tree and driveway lighting.  Bruce (the owner) was responsive to our call and promptly scheduled an appointment to meet with us at dusk so he could show us what each of the lighting options would look like at night.  He brought samples of different types of lighting and we were able to really see what the different options looked like in action.  On the day of installation, the team arrived on schedule. They were friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves.   We had a small problem with the "dusk to dawn" timer and when we called Bruce he arranged to come out and replaced it.  We are extremely pleased with the products and the services of Greatest Scapes Landscaping and highly recommend the company.

"     In order to complete to layout design I submitted a drawing of the room as well as a series of photos.  The website for Homemade design has a questionaire what helps define your overall tastes in design.  I joined Pinterest and started boards for furniture, lighting, bookshelves which were reviewed.  Homemade design comes to New York periodically to meet with clients not in the Boston area and this gave us a chance to meet and select furniture and upholstery at the New York Design center.  This is an extra charge but well worth it since I was completely overwhelmed.  They were extremely patient and guided me through the process.  At one point I decided to move the television which turned out to be a bad idea -- they explained why it would not worked and I concurred competely after I understood the reasons.  So, they are not afraid to tell you if you going down the wrong road. I live in a New York City townhouse and forget that I do not have a whol lot of space even though my house is huge for NYC. So, I had to be told how to "scale" everything to the space we had to work with, which was helpful
I purchased the service several months ago but was not ready to actually decide on the actual purchases until recently. So, the delay in completion is because of my schedule.  I now hope to finish everything by September.

"I contacted Distinctive Irrigation and Landscaping to discuss a small-medium project to landscape the backyard of my townhome I had recently purchased.  It was a blank slate and was in dire need of help to address drainage issues which resulted in standing water (sometimes 4"-5" deep) every time it rained.  From the initial meeting, I was very comfortable with Keith's overall knowledge in all aspects of the potential project.  He listened intently to me priorities and came back with a complete plan to address everything I had listed as objectives of the project.  The price quoted was fair and he stuck to it even with the small adjustments to the plan I requested as the work progressed.  The workmanship of Keith and his crew was excellent and the finished project left me with a backyard space to be proud of.  All drainage issues were effectively resolved and the quality of the paver installation, low-voltage lighting, plant selections, and the overall design resulted in all the neighbors taking notice and commenting on how fantastic it turned out.  I would certainly recommend Keith and his company to anyone looking to invest in their home with high quality landscape work at a reasonable price.  They are definitely a "one-stop" source for all aspects of those types of projects.
