Alex, the installer who did the work, was wonderful. I would rate him as the best workman I have ever hired for a job. He removed the old skylight and the surrounding shingles neatly, even going so far as to take out a roof vent that proved to be part of the problem causing a leak. He installed the new skylight and took extra care to carefully waterproof the the area around both the new skylight and the old vent before adding flashing and replacing the shingles. Inside, he neatly put up molding so you would never know anything had been disturbed. We were very pleased with the work. Alex is a craftsman and is a very meticulous at what he does. I would add that he is also a gentleman.

The service was wonderful! The owner came out to do the I Uriah walk through and he wa sprite sail all and friendly. He gave us all the information we needed for the project and sent a quote quickly with many different options. We booked a little while later with a friendly and helpful office manager. Alex came out to install the light and again, friendly, professional and very communicative. The work was done in two days and has already held up through a tropical storm!

Natural Home Lite was great. They gave me an exact date of when they were going to start the work and they were able to meet that date exactly, even though there had been plenty of rain which could have altered their schedule. Knowing when the crew would arrive allowed my family plan ahead. The 2-man crew, Alex & Daniel, were professional and friendly. They punctual and even finished the job ahead of schedule. We love the new skylights, especially the sunshades. Active Control allows for carefree control of your sunshades. When the sun is too hot and bright indoors, the shades will close up to 80%, cooling your house and saving energy. Overall, we are very happy with the skylights and with Natural Home Lite.

This worked well for me to get my time off my job to meet the crew doing the work. The crew was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up all debris and material when complete.

Natural Home Lite was prompt, professional, clean, and thorough - everything you want in home improvement! Our new skylights are beautiful and high-quality. Their skill and workmanship is top-notch...you would never know they opened up our roof, took out our old leaky skylights, and installed beautiful new ones! They left no trace on the inside or on our roof! And the Velux skylights themselves are amazing! They have solar-powered shades that allow us block out the sun during the heat of the day, and open them up at other times to light the light in! Beautiful!

Denis was a professional. Through and through. He described the options for replacing or repairing my existing skylight and we choose replacement with a sun-tube. Denis did an excellent install and made the new sun-tube look like it had always been a part of our bathroom. He cleaned up the workspace and completed the project in just a little over 4 hours. I would recommend them to anyone needing products for new construction or for replacement.

Alex and Daniel did a top notch job of replacing our old skylights! They showed up right on time after a courtesy call to let me know they were on their way. They made sure the interior of my house was properly prepared for any debris that might fall through during removal and installation. They removed shoes or wore booties whenever they came inside. The new skylights are so much more efficient than the old ones. And I love the solar powered shades! Both of the installers were extremely polite and helpful. I have 2 more skylights to be replaced and will definitely be calling Natural Home Lite to do the work.

Denis with Natural Home Lite was at our home yesterday (5/13/2020) to install three sun tunnels, two 14-inch and one 10-inch. This work was scheduled following a visit from Mike on or about 4/7/2020 for a cost estimate. We also received a cost estimate from our local Solatube reps; the costs were about the same. We chose Velux because we didn't like the idea that the reflective coating in the interior of the sun tunnel would fade over time, which we understand happens with Solatube. Denis promptly arrived at 0900 and went right to work. The job was done by 1630. I inspected the area around one tunnel in the attic and discovered a lot of leftover debris from cutting through the roof as well as one of the light "cans" the sun tunnel replaced. Denis helped me remove the debris, but it would've been left behind had I not inspected. The other two tunnels were in a very hard to reach area of the attic, so I didn't venture in further, but I assume he left the associated debris in there as well, so I marked down Quality from A to B for that. The sun tunnels themselves are AMAZING! We had them installed (1), in darkened entry of upstairs guest bedroom, (2) above 2nd floor catwalk, and (3) above 2nd floor hallway near stairs. We have so much light now that we reach to turn off the light switch when we leave the area when no lights are on. Very impressed with the amount of light they bring in. As a bonus, we also received a gateway device and newer model remote opener for our existing Velux skylights, which Mike took notice of when he did the quote. The remote pairs with the solar-powered shades on the skylights to allow you to open/close the shades and the gateway allows you to download a Velux app and control the shades with your cell phone. All that work, which added an extra hour to the job, was done for free.

I was advised that the flashing on my four skylights was incorrectly installed by roofers, and one of my skylights was not the appropriate choice for the roof pitch. I was given the choice between replacing all the skylights with flashing, or having flashing re-installed. I chose to have the one skylight replaced and flashing re-installed for the other three. I was kept informed, and the technician (Denis) was great.

The technician arrived on time, was extremely professional and meticulous about the work being done. When he left, after removing the original (handmade skylight) and replacing it with the new one, I could not tell he had been there. My kitchen was spotless without the slightest bit of dust or debris. The experience was perfect and I would highly recommend them.

Process was smooth from estimate through installation. They were very courteous and professional and did a clean turnkey job. My room was very dark but now it has natural light. Well worth it!

The installer arrived on time and was very pleasant and explained everything to me. He made sure I understood what he was going to do and then he went right to work. He completely cleaned up when he was done. This is my second SunTunnel and I love all the new light in the kitchen.

We live in a smaller community 1 hour from Greensboro and 1.5 hours from Raleigh / Durham. It can be difficult to get certain skilled workers to come here. Mike Townsend, owner, cheerfully agreed to evaluate our job request. This involves cutting two (2) large holes in our roof. We want people who know what they are doing ! Evaluation and pricing agreed upon, the very experienced crew arrived as scheduled and performed flawlessly. We asked their opinions as to placement and they advised. Why not use their experience ? Result ? Totally pleased ! Would advise purchase total blackout shades which are infinitely adjustable via programmable solar-powered motor.

The work was professionally and neatly done. Contractors were very pleasant and answered all of our questions. The sky light has been a fantastic addition to a room that has no windows.

Mike was quick to respond to our request for information. Came out to the house and made recommendations and gave us a quote. We scheduled the job and a week later had the install. Daniel the installer was very polite and professional. The job was completed in the allotted time. Everything about our experience with Natural Home Lite was excellent! We would definitely recommend them to others that need this type of home upgrade.

I am amazed at how much brighter my little 1950’s ranch is . I would recommend these to anyone looking for a way to add natural lighting at a reasonable price. I put them in my living room,kitchen and a dark hallway. I am so pleased with everything from initial appointment to installation.
