"So far I am completely satisfied with the work I hired them to do. I have a large river birch tree that was infested with caterpillars eating the leaves and covering whole branches in their web nests. The guys came out and reviewed the size of the job first and gave me an excellent price. Tony came the first day by himself but decided it was a 2 man job so he came back the next day. They cut the branches that were dying and spray-treated as much of the other branches that could be reached. In the end, I am afraid that they will have to return because some of the nests were out of reach of the equipment they had with them that day. Tony promised he would return if problems continued and I believe what he told me. By the way, my neighbor also hired them after he watched them work on my tree."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Signs include visible nests, droppings, frequent loud noises, or structural damage caused by these animals, indicating a need for pest control intervention.

Keeping birds away from a porch can involve a combination of strategies. Start with cleaning your porch. Remove food, debris, and plants that may be attracting feathered friends. Afterward, install physical deterrents like netting or spikes. Next, top off your porch with a decoy or two—and owl or hawk works. When wondering how to keep birds off the porch, it is always best to use humane efforts that won't harm winged creatures or the environment.

Numerous predators kill hornets, including frogs, birds, lizards, bats, spiders, and hedgehogs. Some larger predators, including rats, skunks, and racoons, will occasionally attack a hornet nest in order to eat the larvae inside. These natural predators typically don’t eat enough hornets to make them an effective form of hornet control.
