"He was quick to contact me. On the following day we scheduled a home appointment. He was right on time and very cordial. After explaining in detail what was going to be done to remove the rodents from my car he quickly did the work. This was also after answering all my questions. So far his method has been 100% effective. Highly recommend his service"

Nathan and his partner Kevin set traps for the raccoons after squirting a pheromone deterrent into the eave. The raccoons had apparently already departed. The traps were never disturbed.
The eaves were sealed with galvanized steel which wrapped from the inside of the gutter around the edge of the roof deck to the top surface. This was done to all gutter lines and all flashing was reinforced. The gable vents were screened.

Nathan, Kevin, and Jeremy worked carefully and neatly. They are vey knowledgable thorough and professional. I highly recommend this company.

"Allstar Wildlife Removal were excellent. They were prompt, responsive, professional, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done well. They were excellent. Squirrels are expensive little buggers. I thought their price was fair for what they did and the number of days they came by and checked on things. "

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

You can find a variety of humane bird repellent sprays online and at home improvement stores. However, if you want to try a DIY method that will keep birds away without harming them, mix some water, dish soap, and a few drops of peppermint oil and spray the area you want bird-free. Peppermint oil is a notoriously lovely smell for humans, but birds tend to avoid it.

Hawk attacks on pets are rare, and they won’t target animals that outweigh them. Hawks typically weigh between one and three pounds. That means you don’t need to worry if you have a Labrador Retriever or French Bulldog. However, small cats and toy breed dogs, like Chihuahuas, are at risk. Pet attacks are more likely in winter when food is scarce or in the early summer when inexperienced young hawks are honing their hunting skills.

Some birds of prey, like owls, hunt at night. Hawks are diurnal and need good light to see their prey. You could see them circling anytime from dawn to dusk. Species like the common red-tailed hawk are most active in the early morning and late evening when their prey is also typically on the go.

Birds are often averse to certain strong scents. For instance, the odor of predator urine, such as that from foxes or hawks, can deter them. Similarly, birds may dislike the pungent aromas of garlic, onions, and chili peppers. Essential oils like peppermint, eucalyptus, and citrus can also be effective in keeping birds away. However, it's important to note that individual bird species might react differently to these scents, so it might require some experimentation to find the most effective repellent for your specific situation.

The lifespan of a bird's nest depends on the species. The building process can take from two days to three weeks. Once built, the nesting period for baby birds can last from two to ten weeks before they leave the nest. While most young birds are ready in two to six weeks, some predatory species may need up to two and a half months. Some species nest four to five times per year, so a nest could remain in use for several months. For specific information about a particular nest's longevity, it is best to consult a wildlife professional.
