"I hired DL remodeling for a small job to repair some drywall and trim in the closet. They did a fantastic job! The typical time it takes to replace a patio door is between three and five hours. That time frame includes the removal of the old door and completing any necessary repairs before installing the door. The vast majority of hinges are symmetrical, and either side of the hinge can go on the door or the frame. Occasionally, you'll find a hinge specifically made for right or left-handed doors with different attachment hardware or larger plates on one side.
