"Mr. Gomez came to inspect our issue the day after I called. He appeared on time, inspected the area, took measurements, and recommended an inside French drain around three perimeters of our house--about 130 feet. He was very personable and took time to answer all of our questions. He buried one gutter downspout and tied it into the sump pump drain line extending it out an extra 40 feet from the house. We also requested he bury a 2nd downspout and extend it 50 feet from the house. A driveway drain in front of a garage door on the 4th side of the house was also added. He and his men arrived as promised and completed the job in 3 days. They prepared the area by wrapping all furniture, etc. in plastic before starting work. Concrete floors were also covered in plastic. The first day jack hammers rocked the house as they used them to chip up a foot wide channel in the concrete to make room for laying the Waterguard system. After the first day, all other work was quiet and quick. They were able to bury the drain lines outside and replace grass so that no evidence of any digging is even apparent without close inspection--amazing!!! Everything was completely cleaned up inside afterwards with no need to even vacuum. We consulted 5 companies before contracting with Uneven Floors. Not only was the system he installed comparable to what the others recommended, but was several thousand dollars cheaper. We have not had a hard rain to test the system, but water poured into the installed channel went to the sump pump so I would be highly surprised if it doesn't work as promised. As others have indicated in reviews, Mr. Gomez is very quick to respond to calls and emails. I would highly recommend this company."

"Half of my project was installing and burying a drainage line to pull water away from my home. Brandon, Sergio, and Terrence did an exceptional job! From the moment they arrived, until completion, they were very courteous and willing to explain any and all questions I had. They even installed and buried an additional drain line from my gutter downspout next to the drain line they were installing and connected it to the yardwell along with their drain line. "Where the water had leaked through the cinderblock the jack-hammer broke that area off the block and I was left with areas of bigger holes. They cracked a cinderblock on the second tier and repaired it without telling me. This now leaks when the ground is satuated with a week of heavy rain where I never had a leak before. Where the water is pumped out works ok until there is less water to push out and now I have the water dribbling down the out-let drain creating a whole in the soil. On the whole it doesn't look as pretty as the pictures in the book. Except for that new crack they created the system does work well. I did put in an outside french drain to carry excess water away from the side of the house where I have the new crack. It didn't leak much and not at all with light rain-falls. I used floating carpet tiles in case the crack gets worse. As for the drain cover, I put some flushing around it to direct the water away from the corner of the house. Luckily, I took pictures of the whole job after the first couple of heavy rain falls so I have back-up to prove what I am saying. You can see the water seepage from the crack and many places where the water seeped out of the drain itself. However, I figured the stones needed time to settle along with any excess debri. I am going into my 2nd year and rain-fall has not  been as heavy.So far, no leaks for 12 months. The personnel were polite and cleaned up before they left. Would another company have done any better, I doubt it, as, they would use the one jack-hammer with the same force to break up the cement. Since my proberty collects all the water flowing down from the top of the neighborhood I didn't have much choice but to choose this type of water-proofing. I also put in french drains around the edge of my property to direct excess water to the back of my property where there is a slope to carry most of it off to a lake a half a mile away. The one would not have worked without the other. I do have to keep my gutters cleared otherwise my basement walls become satuated. It definately was not a final solution but at least I'm not spending days suctioning up water and drying my basement out with a fan and heater. At this present time when I get heavy rain I can sleep without worry my basement is flooding. However, I noticed my wall has new settlement cracking between the cinderblocks which I feel can be easily patched. My walls were slightly pushing in but that seems to have corrected itself ergo, cracks elsewhere. One day my house my collapse but I feel I won't have anymore flooding.

When they came to do the inspection. They walked through with my husband and they showed him exactly where there were problems, they told him what problems there had been, and they labeled the areas that had things that were big problems. They also showed where there was a missing pier at each side. Not only the wall packing, but one of the support beams that had poked a hole in the closet. Then there was water that would come in the back area, and another diagonally from it. We had been told by one company not to worry about it, and that did not make use happy. They proposed fixing both ends, and had shown cracks in the walls, that we haven?t even seen, and where the floor was uneven. There were a lot of things they pointed out, that we haven?t even noticed.  When they got done, Mr James Campbell, when he went through and showed my husband, it just absolutely dumbfounded him. There is not a room in the house, that didn?t need repaired.  They ended up installing 3 push pier standard brackets, and cast in place fitting, and 15 smart jacks. They got all the permits and engineering. They did outstanding work. They were very polite professional, and on time. They gave of a sheet of all the information of everything that they installed, permits, and warranty for each thing. The smart jacks are warranteed for 5 years from install date. The manufacturer also warrants 25 years from the day of installation.  When we entered into the contract we have the right to notify to notify the salesperson directly, and let them know if we were upset about anything or to cancel at that point. Offered to buy now and pay later. They were so professional and so contentious, and went out of their way to be so. They sent along with estimate, a whole booklet about foundation problems that explains everything you would ever want to know. I would recommend them highly to anyone.
