"We were quoted $2500 with a 3 day timeline to remove wood flooring and tile a 10’x 12’. The job still wasn’t complete 2 weeks later and it was becoming apparent there were some serious issues. During removal of the wood flooring, a threshold wasn’t properly removed, creating a large unexpected crack in the adjacent travertine. After the wood flooring was removed, a petroleum based solvent was used to loosen the glue. This solvent was spread up to the base of my walls where it subsequently soaked up the dry wall above the base boards coverage and damaged my Venetian plaster walls leaving a permeated odor in my home. While care was taken in placing the tile so the patterns looked appropriate, less care was taken in spacing. Some tiles have almost twice the gap in the grout lines as others, clearly because the tile was cut short and even though there was plenty of extra tile, the short pieces were used anyway. The final edge of the tile was clearly crooked and the mosaic transition we installed, at Marks recommendation, came out so poorly that it’s questionable if he even knew how to lay mosaic sheets. Mark also made several complaints about how he under bid the job and was losing money,, suggesting we pay more. We had to stop the job, contact our attorney and hire another company to finish it correctly. Beware of this “A” rated company."

On the day of installation, he showed up on time and ready to work and complete the job. He is an experienced plumber who cares about his customers and the quality of his work. We’ll definitely use G.L. Ward Plumbing again for any future plumbing needs!!"

"The quality of work that was performed was so far above what I expected! The extra detail touches that were added made my home Beautiful. The cord around for example, instead of a blunt cut they gave it a finished angle trim. A company that does that, well you should see the rest of his quality work! "Please see the earlier review (3/12) for context. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Mt. Valley Foundation Services regarding our sump pump installation. Overall, the team did an excellent job with both the initial installation and the subsequent repair of the discharge lines, which had come apart over time. They were professional, transparent, and truly seemed to care about the project. The only challenge I encountered was not with Mt. Valley Foundation Services itself, but rather with its parent company, Ground Works. From my experience, Ground Works has acquired many smaller foundation companies across the U.S., and it seems they may be struggling with logistical coordination. The call center they use is not very user-friendly, and I experienced multiple miscommunications and scheduling errors. Unfortunately, this puts Mt. Valley Foundation Services at the mercy of Ground Works' logistical issues. That said, I highly recommend working with Mt. Valley Foundation Services. My advice is to obtain the names and direct contact information of the service team when booking—this makes future communication significantly easier. Once I was able to reach the team directly, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Living in a flood-prone area, I feel confident that the sump pump project they completed will be a tremendous benefit to our home and property. A big thanks to Danny (the manager) and his team for their outstanding work!"

"Beware Swift Services. $24,000+ for a 1800 sq. ft.house HVAC. The are deceptive and untrustworthy. They took advantage of us during a cold spell telling us our outside unit was not working and we were on emergency power. They could do a temporary fix but we needed a need system. We agreed to the new system and was quoted in the area of $12,000+ (way over priced it turns out should have been no more than $8,000). Put a contract on a tablet in front of me to sign. I trusted then and signed, my mistake. They increased the capacity of the unit without telling me. Why? This led to the need for new duct work. Verbal estimate: $3,000. Billed: $10,000+. Excuse: their salesman mis-spoke. Stuck the contract infant of me on may way to an appointment. I signed trusting the estimate was legit. It wasn't."
