Bathtub and tile refinishing and repairs (fixing cracked bathtubs) and dirty pour epoxy countertops. I will take my time and make sure you are satisfied with my work as I am licensed and insured business owner who is clean and professional. I am able to offer free estimates with a few pictures sent to me with almost accurate prices. Once going to job sites prices my increase depending on unknown damage that was not visible in photos.

"Awful. Bob Dewhurst started the job on March 1, 2021. Was supposed to take 3-5 days. As of May 27, 2021 he has not completed our bathroom and the work that has been done needs to be redone. Shower pan leaks, Onyx walls are bowing, there is a crack in one of the Onyx walls that his crew tried to hide from us with silicone. We have paid him money and he will complete job. If you use him make sure you have an attorney on retainer."

Bathtub Restoration questions, answered by experts

New homeowners in Lexington should start with kitchen sinks, as local hard water often causes stubborn mineral stains. Next, focus on bathroom vanity sinks, which can lose their finish quickly due to frequent use and humidity. Utility sinks, which handle heavy-duty cleaning, are also smart early projects. Guest bathroom sinks are ideal for testing reglazing techniques before moving on to main bathroom renovations.

Helpful?

In Lexington, the humid subtropical weather can make sink reglazing more challenging. High summer humidity often slows down the curing process, while rapid temperature swings in spring and fall can affect how well the new finish bonds. For best results, schedule sink reglazing in Lexington during mild, dry periods, ensure strong ventilation, and allow extra drying time to achieve a resilient, long-lasting surface refinishing.

Helpful?

Completing sink reglazing in Lexington enhances comfort by creating smoother, more hygienic surfaces that resist hard water stains and bacteria growth. Freshly reglazed sinks are easier to clean and give your kitchen or bathroom a refreshed, modern appearance. This simple bathroom renovation method helps reduce ongoing maintenance, extends the life of your fixtures, and avoids the disruption of full sink replacements.

Helpful?

In Lexington homes, master bathroom sinks typically need reglazing first due to daily use and humidity exposure. Kitchen sinks are also prone to staining and surface wear from hard water. Over time, guest and powder room sinks—especially in older homes—may develop rough spots or discoloration. Regularly inspect all sinks for persistent stains or dull finishes, as these are signs that surface refinishing is needed.

Helpful?

When hiring a sink reglazing professional in Lexington, check for experience with local climate challenges and hard water issues. Ask about their approach to ventilation and curing in humid conditions, and request recent references from Lexington homeowners. Confirm they carry liability insurance and understand local building codes. Be cautious of unusually low quotes, as these can indicate shortcuts or lack of expertise in surface refinishing.
