Customers say: True professional

"Just had a fence installed by Infinite Fence and had to share because they absolutely delivered. Luis (the owner) and his crew were punctual and knocked out a full wood privacy fence / shadowbox fence installation quickly and efficiently. They handled the tear-down of our old fence and the install of the new one without any issues. Everything looks clean, solid, and professionally done. No delays, no upselling, no surprise charges. Just a smooth, high-quality fence install from start to finish. If you’re in the Charlotte area and looking for fence installation, wood fencing, privacy fence, or gate installation, I’d definitely recommend Infinite Fence. Luis and his team are the real deal."

"Town and Country did an excellent job. They also were able to customize with scrolls and knobs to match other fencing in the community. About 200 ft. of quality brand black aluminum 4ft high fence was installed. Excellent job by the installers. Also the sales person was knowledgeable and very responsive to all requests. Price was competitive."

"I found Shepherd fence to be extremely dependable, timely, they explained the work to be done and were hardworking. I was so stunned at the excellence of their cleanup after completing the work. I found my yard in immaculate condition. The workmanship was on point! Each team member was kind, and courteous. I added an enclosure after the fact for my trash cans and they completed that as well. I am so happy with my new fence. It has improved my property in value and appeal! Thank you Shepherd Fence you are not just a fence company you become family!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

For most residential fencing projects in Indian Land, installation typically takes between two and four days, though larger or custom fences may extend up to two weeks. Weather conditions, such as summer storms, can cause delays. Permit processing in Indian Land usually requires several business days, and contractors’ schedules fill quickly during peak seasons, so it’s wise to plan your project well in advance.

Helpful?

Installing a fence in Indian Land offers immediate privacy, security, and pet containment, while also enhancing curb appeal and clearly marking property lines. Over time, a well-built fence can increase your home’s value, reduce yard maintenance, and help buffer noise from nearby roads. Fencing also deters local wildlife, provides wind protection during storms, and can make your property more attractive to future buyers.

Helpful?

Your Indian Land home is well-suited for fencing if your property boundaries are clearly defined and the soil is stable, which is especially important with the region’s clay composition. Homes with level lots and minimal drainage or easement concerns are ideal. Always review HOA guidelines for material or height restrictions, and avoid installing fences on steep slopes or areas prone to erosion for best results.

Helpful?

In Indian Land, it’s important to assess your property for any underground utilities or irrigation lines before starting fencing work. Walk the fence line and look for visible utility markers, sprinkler heads, or drainage features. Also, consider how the fence might impact HVAC units, pool equipment, or existing drainage patterns—especially with the area’s clay soil and frequent rainfall. Careful planning helps prevent costly disruptions to essential home systems.

Helpful?

When planning a fencing project in Indian Land, consider local setback and height regulations, especially if you have a corner lot. The area’s clay soil may require deeper or specially treated posts for stability. Review HOA approval processes and design guidelines, and ensure your fence won’t block drainage paths or access to utility easements. Choose materials that withstand humidity and strong seasonal winds common in the region.
