We hired Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction for a backyard project and ran into numerous issues. We paid a partial deposit of over $27,000.00 in August 2022 for upfront costs and project materials and work started October 2022. A privacy fence was built, our backyard and patio were excavated, and a drain pipe was installed between October 2022 and January 2023. So after 15 months of limited to no progress, limited communication, and a variety of excuses; we had to terminate the contract in January 2024. Upon termination, Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction stated via email that he would begin the process of returning the over $16,000.00 balance due for work that we paid to have done but he never completed. We have not received any of the remaining $16,000.00 to date. We have attempted numerous times to contact Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction, along with our attorneys, but he has not responded to any form of communication. We now have to hire a different contractor to repair the damage to our backyard and complete the project."
