Jim, a Charlotte native, learned the plumbing trade from his father-in-law, Chester H. Creed, and worked with him for many years before starting his own company. Jim, along with his wife Judy, formed Jim Dickerson Plumbing in 1977. What began as a one truck operation has grown steadily over the years, and today we have a fleet of over 20 service vans. In 2005, we moved to our current 11,000 square foot location. This facility includes a 7,000 square foot warehouse that allows us to stock many commonly used parts, water heaters, and fixtures which helps us in providing prompt service. Jim's daughters, Debbie and Angie, decided after college to join the company and they currently manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, and Accounting. "My system went out on my AC and Jim Dickerson was called out to repair it from my warranty company. After the Dickerson company left, I was told I need a new system. The Dickerson Company left and advised that they were call me with the pricing for a new system. I called and got a new quote from another AC company that’s reputable in this area. After the new company came, it was brought to my attention that my AC system was trashed. I called Jim Dickerson and was told that it wasn’t them I received another opinion and this from another reputable company, and this time they took pictures and videos. After looking at the pictures and videos I called Jim Dickerson back and was told again that they didn’t do it. I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of because I’m a single black female living alone! I need a lawyer ASAP."

"I started with Brother?s about 12 years ago and last year I was walking away from them due to customer service. I had upper management talking me into staying and I did. It was the BIGGEST mistake. The same problems with scheduling and cancellations are going on. You never can get an office person to call you back only the call center is available which are not helpful at all. I scheduled my last service two weeks in advance I received text reminding me of my appointment in 48 hours and then shortly after received a different text that had canceled my appointment and scheduled a new one for me 3 weeks later. No one even called me to ask me if that date was good for me, which it is not. I called to complain asked to speak to a manager. Got a manager on the phone and he even confirmed that my account had a notation not to cancel my appointment do to the history of the account. I was told someone would call me back from scheduling. That was October 30 and I have yet to receive a call. "
