"Remove Trees He had me take pictures on Sunday afternoon. Then he called me and came over to see the situation. He quoted me a price for what I ask and then explained to me about the other tree, which was a foot away. His explanation made sense and only his knowledge of what he does made me take care of something that I would be facing again shortly. He came the next morning and the job was completed in a few hours. He did a FANASTIC JOB AND CLEANED EVERYTHING UP and even did extra things for me. THEY ARE GREAT..........."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Tree experts don’t advise against digging through tree roots, but instead encourage caution and consultation with a local arborist to make sure you don’t damage the tree’s structure or interrupt its water or nutrient intake. An arborist can recommend specific practices when digging and help prune the roots or dig a trench for utilities with a tool that can remove soil without touching the tree’s roots.

Although it’s possible, heavy machinery like a crane is necessary for removing an entire tree stump and all. This procedure is extremely costly, time-consuming, and usually unnecessary, as there are plenty of convenient and affordable stump removal options.

Your best bet, if you want to be sure to remove a tree and its stump efficiently, is to speak with a professional. They’ll be able to walk you through the entire process.

Leaving a dead tree can expose your other trees to potential diseases, pests, and fungi, and it can also be a hazard. If your tree is dead, then you should hire a tree maintenance service to remove it. Cutting down trees is extremely dangerous, and a professional can ensure no one gets hurt and there is no damage to your property. Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 and will prevent future issues and keep you and your property safe.

Any cutting of tree roots can hurt or kill a tree, which is why it's recommended you don’t do it unless the roots are damaging or invasive on a nearby structure like your home. You should never cut more than 15 percent of above-ground tree roots at one time. If you have any questions about cutting tree roots, contact your local arborist.

Dying trees and even dead trees can spread diseases to other living trees. There are many different types of tree diseases, so it’s essential to address the issue as soon as possible to prevent the disease from spreading to other healthy trees. If the tree cannot be saved and is infected, you need to have it removed to protect the other trees on your property.
