"We have a continuing working relationship with Noah and his company for years and has done a variety of renovations and repairs at our property. This job was a full tear out of carpeting and installation of luxury vinyl flooring. Also removal of a partial wall to open up the kitchen to the living room / dining room. When we did our initial review of the job we emphasized that the job had a certain timeline for completion. His crew did an amazing job in completing the job well within the time while handling the "little things" that always come up with any job. Very easy to work with and maintained good communications during the project. We highly recommend All's General Construction, LLC for all your home repairs and improvements."

His partner Carolyn spent countless hours taking me to select the tile and fixtures and lighting and anything that was needed. Angelo would give me advice and I truly Trusted it was the right decision. And the renovation is beyond my high expectations! I recommend them to anyone looking to create lasting memories. Quality and Business Integrity is what comes to mind when writing this review."

"Rocco Custom Remodeling turned a tired 50 year old villa into a modern showpiece. They remodeled the entire space including the kitchen and the bathrooms, changing the floor print to meet modern day needs. Their sense of style is breathtaking, and their tiling is superb. Calls are returned promptly and courteously. They saw our vision and brought it to life."

"Morales and his team entirely renovated two bathrooms in our condo in downtown Savannah and worked in the flooring as well, changing the carpet by laminate. We loved the result! The team is very polite and focused on customer service. They want to make sure that their customer is happy with the service they do. They are very attentive to details. We are very happy and highly recommend Morales and his team."

Garages questions, answered by experts

Garage door sensors should be installed on each side of the door, typically six inches off of the ground. The sensors communicate through an infrared beam, so they need to face each other directly for the system to work properly. Make sure they’re level and aligned, and keep the area around them clear. If they’re too high or out of alignment, your garage door won’t function properly.

A prefab, or prefabricated garage, requires far less construction work than one with a foundation and frame, but it’s not nearly as desirable and may not be a worthwhile option. A prefabricated garage won’t be as durable or long-lasting, and it doesn’t provide the same protection for your belongings and vehicles. Plus, you can use a standard garage for more uses—like living space—whereas a prefab garage only serves as a space for storage. Lastly, building a traditional garage will add to your home value, while a prefab garage usually won’t.

Garage door insulation can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years depending on the type of insulation. Cellulose has the shortest lifespan coming in at between 20 and 30 years, while spray foam, mineral wool, and fiberglass can last between 80 and 100 years with proper maintenance.

Humidity plays a role in how long more susceptible insulation materials—like fiberglass—last. Once fiberglass batts reach the 15-year mark, you'll need to routinely inspect your insulation to ensure that it is in mint order.

It is possible to manually open a garage door. However, whether you should manually open a garage door depends on the source of the problem. If the door doesn't open because of a broken spring or cable, for safety's sake, you'll want to leave the door closed until you can have a professional inspect it and repair it. If the problem lies with the opener itself, you should usually have no problem opening the door manually.

The best way to prevent your garage door from freezing is to install a permanent source of heat in the garage. You can have a professional tie in your main heating system or install a ductless mini split as a standalone heating solution. You can also insulate the garage to prevent temperatures from dropping to the point that the door freezes shut.
