"I'm sorry you feel that way whenever we 1st signed the paperwork your husband and yourself said that you would be leaving throughout the project ...that was my thought when we started. That Saturday we worked until dark, and the inspectors do not allow you to put shingles on the roof before they inspect the boarding we had set. You're only allowed to put tar paper on top of the roof before the nailing inspection. The heavy rain we had that Sunday was when you contacted me that night at 10:30pm . I picked up the phone and talked you all through it and said that i would be there 1st thing that next morning, (I was under the impression there were a few drops. When myself and my guys arrived, we put 3 tarps on your roof in the pouring rain to avoid the water intrusion. This does not happen often at all and I'm sorry that confusion was there. I stated that we would remove the sheetrock and the flooring in the damaged areas and replace it when we get to that portion of the project. The reason immediate action was not taken is because You all said You would be leaving for the duration of the project. The A/C unit was moved from the floor to over the window for better air flow as discussed by myself and your husband, (this was not a mistake, just a cosmetic choice). I never asked for or argued the cost of any of the water damage materials and or water mitigation of another contractor and answered your calls and emails and texts on Friday nights, Saturday nights, Sundays and anytime I saw an immediate notification of contact from You all. Another company was hired to bring in dehumidifiers for 3 days at $200 a day without my knowledge until the company called me for payment, at that time I requested You all to have them removed and even with the roof un-shingled, (due to waiting for inspection), I would proceed to repair it, even with the chance of more water Intruding on the newly repaired area. I have all ethnicities of people that work for me and they are all great workers, my newest employee has worked for me for 4 years now and my oldest will be at 10 years on January 11th. The garage is on the opposite side of the house from my addition and in a separate power panel from the one we had power from and worked in. The refrigerator flipped a breaker the weekend your cleaner was there, (I suggested my cleaner but credited you money because you suggested your cleaner), and was running multiple vaccums in each room which can overload a breaker and flip it off. The cleaner was also in and out of your garage in the service yard . Again I am sorry You feel this way but I felt the issues that arose were taken care of and the project was complete before schedule at the end. Feel free to contact me with any other concerns and I will see to them that day or the next as I always do with every project.."
