"Top of the Line Painting arrived at our house on time as scheduled. They were very professional and respectful of us and our property. They took their time to outline around door frames, vents, and light fixtures. The finished result is EXCELLENT!! I will be recommending them to friends and family and we will definitely hire them again very soon. JOB WELL DONE!!!!"

"This was one of the best experiences we have had working with a contractor. It was a for a large install of ceramic tile. From removing the old hardwood, to leveling, to tile install and quarter round install through final cleanup, all was great. The finished flooring looks fantastic! Very diligent, thorough and professional from start to finish. As a bonus they also painted an area of our home with 16’ ceilings and it looks great, saving us time and a lot of effort. 5 stars plus!!!"

"all of the work was done in 2.5 days. very professional crew, equipment and truck. they cleaned up after everyday. they even brought in excess paints and stains from previous jobs to stain my privacy fence and deck, something that I was not charged for. I went with 3 quotes but for the work needed these guys had the best price."

Lakeside construction is the one you need to hire for all your roofing needs! They are wonderful! From the salesman Kevin who handled the insurance company so I did not have to, Tom who then called with all the details and scheduled my roof, the delivery man that brought all the supplies, and the roofers. I have two dogs and the roofers worked around letting them go potty twice....so nice. The roof is beautiful! They left my yard cleaner then it was before they came. They cleaned my front porch and back deck and raked the yard. There was zero trash left and not a single nail left. I could not be happier!!!

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Whether to paint or stain a deck depends on your personal preference for appearance and budget. Stain provides a natural look with a range of undertones, is typically less expensive, and may only require one coat, but it does not last as long as paint. Paint offers a sleeker finish with a virtually unlimited color palette. Both options will protect your deck from outdoor elements like rain, snow, and general wear and tear.

The number of coats you need to apply when whitewashing a surface depends on how opaque you want the final product to be. If you're going for a transparent, barely there look, a single coat or two may suffice. For fuller coverage, you'll want to use multiple coats. Another option is to use a less diluted paint to get a thicker coverage.

Yes, they provide design insights that enhance space utility and visual appeal.

The plastic in composite decking boards protects them enough that you do not need to paint them to prevent warping. In fact, painting composite decking voids the warranty of some manufacturers. Painting can also increase maintenance on the deck, as you must paint regularly to keep it looking its best.

It is not always necessary to remove old stain before restaining a deck. If the previous stain is in good condition and is compatible with the new stain, you may be able to apply a new coat after thorough cleaning. However, if the old stain is in bad condition, flaking, or peeling, it is best to remove it completely to ensure an even surface and proper adhesion for the new coat. Staining over a damaged layer can lead to an uneven finish and poor penetration. For best results, test a small area first and consult the stain manufacturer's guidelines.
