"To completion. About 15 months later, the bathroom had a major leak that encompassed the adjacent closet. After calling the Rivers Ave office, GG install guy came out and checked shower drain and found no problem. Leak persisted--we cut the water off completely. After three days to dry out, we cut the water back on. Leak persisted but an employed plumber could tell it was not a drain issue. After getting a contractor to take the vinyl off the outside of the house to access the water lines, it was found that a stud supporting the shower insert had been cut with a "saws-all" during the shower insert demolition and the hot water line immediately behind it was cut ALMOST completely through. It took 15 months for the water pressure to finally breach the damaged hose. The cold water hose immediately above it also had saw damage but minimal. I had the shower install guy there to see what we found. He denies his crew did this, but the contractor's findings and pics reveal otherwise. I have called the office to report that I intended to file a claim for the bills incurred, asked for a call from the general manager and have yet to hear from them. I will say that the rep we dealt with to start this process was professional and even the install guy Anton was courteous and professional. Office management on the other hand has yet to respond. In the end, I will sue for all costs incurred."
