"Arrived and got started right away. I paid him upfront and had to shower and change to head out for evening. I received pictures taken of a portion of the duct, was disappointed I could not see to the end of the vent clean out.
My other concern is how the service tech left the dryer vent curled up and partially crushed as he put the dryer back in place, and then took this picture to display it. It would seem obvious that once you saw the vent like that you would correct it. Not happy with that."
"I had a mini split ac system installed. Chris responded promptly. He proved to be knowledgeable and dependable. Consistently communicated throughout the installation process, so I always knew what was going on and had my questions and concerns addressed. Chris made the whole process relatively stress free!"
"It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. Without hesitation I will recommend Petro to friends and family throughout the Philly area. Peter A. Elkins Park"
"Earth Green did an awesome job in cleaning out my HVAC system. Troy and Scotty were very professional and did the job with ease and high quality. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone!"
"MTS came to repair our AC system when it went out in the middle of the night. They were able to address our low refrigerant and flooded basin quickly and efficiently. Even though this is an incredibly busy time for HVAC techs, they were always responsive. When the issue in our system turned out to be a bigger problem, they were flexible with the work that had already been done. We'd be glad to work with MTS again in the future."
"Took out all duct work and installed more efficient ductwork. Big improvement in air flow. Also has serviced my ac for about 3 years. They are thorough, honest , professional and super nice people I highly recommend . Contact Bill, Allison or Jimmy, the management team."
"If you are looking for quality work at a fair price, this place is it. I’ve previously used other big companies before and they were unreliable and charged thousands. Jon is super reliable and great at what he does. I recently moved into a 3300 sq ft home with a ton of issues, and Jon got us up and running right away. He responds quickly and works with you to get a convenient appointment time. Ri energy messed with one of our burners recently after replacing gas mains and inn this 30 degree weather, we had no heat. They couldn’t figure out the issue after coming over twice. Jon quickly responded to my emergency call and was able to diagnose and fix the issue immediately. If you want someone you can trust, call Kent County."
"Rodney came out to our home the same day and took the time to properly troubleshoot and diagnose the problem with our a/c unit. He repaired the system correctly and perfectly, not rushing into a quick or convenient fix. Our home is comfortable again. His professionalism and dedication are outstanding. Highly recommend!"

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts
There are several tell-tale signs that your AC coils need cleaning, including:
You’re getting higher electricity bills.
Your home doesn’t feel as cool as it usually does.
Your AC unit is running longer than usual to cool your home.
Your home is more humid than usual.
The coil is covered in frost while running.
Yes. It's not just AC filters that get dirty. Ducts can accumulate dust and dirt quickly. Insects and animals can also get into duct systems, creating many problems. Dirt build-up and unwanted guests can constrict the airflow and cause rooms not to cool evenly. You might also see higher energy bills because they're not working as efficiently.
The difference between a home surge protector and an HVAC surge protector is that an HVAC surge protector is designed to protect the components inside your HVAC unit while a home surge protector is installed near appliances and meant to protect your entire home. There are three tiers of whole-house surge protectors, and they are more expensive to install than HVAC surge protectors.
A window AC unit is not completely silent. You’ll hear the sound of air blowing, and if you put your ear right up next to the unit, you may hear a slight hiss or gurgle as the refrigerant flows through the system. That said, if your system is making a running water sound, a loud banging sound, a grinding sound, or physically vibrating, you may be facing an issue or malfunction with your AC unit.
For washable or electrostatic air conditioner filters, you can soak and rinse them with water. If you rinse the filter with water, make sure to use a faucet, shower head, or garden hose with a gentle water pressure setting, as strong water pressure could damage the filter.
But for disposable filters, water could ruin the filter, even allowing mold to grow in the filter. Instead, these filters should be replaced.
