I'm the kind of customer who wants to understand what's going on, why something broke, how I can prevent it, what are the alternatives, etc. He walked me through everything, explaining what he was doing as he was doing it, and stopping periodically to dive deeper into the details as I had questions. My AC needed a charge of coolant, but the air handler in the attic was also in a deteriorated state, with rust buildup and mold present. Adam showed me everything he was seeing and explained its significance. He also explained that our system is using a type of coolant (R-22) that is being phased out and that will become increasingly difficult to find. We got the AC working again for now, but it sounds like we need to replace our system. I will definitely be reaching out to Cotti-Johnson about that, and I hope the installers I get are as meticulous and knowledgeable as Adam!"
