"Adam called me immediately and met me that same day. I hired the company and they cut my grass that same day. They used a ride on mower and my land is uneven so some areas were shorter than others. Two days later they spread 10 yards of hemlock mulch and recut some areas of my grass with push mower. They will use a push mower in the future. My yard now looks beautifully landscaped. You’ll want to opt for a smaller tree with a non-invasive root system. Select a species that won’t grow too tall and choose a planting location that won’t damage your home.

Stump grinding consists of removing the visible part of the stump, but the roots remain intact. Depending on the tree and root system, the roots may still grow after stump grinding. If you are concerned about root growth and damage, you may want to consider having a stump removed completely.

If you’re wondering why tree trunks are painted white in your area, it’s usually to prevent sunscald, a condition where extreme shifts in temperature can cause tree bark to split. Fruit trees are especially vulnerable to sunscald, so this treatment is worth considering if it’s something that affects your trees.

Palm trees are unique in that their roots don't grow straight down; they grow horizontally. Typically, palm tree roots go down between 12 and 36 inches deep. The roots grow far and wide from the base of the palm tree to absorb as much water and soil nutrients as possible. In addition, the horizontal roots are also very strong—keeping palm trees stable and helping them sway during storms.
