Bartlett Tree Experts has been providing scientific tree care since 1907. A 3rd generation, family owned business, our mission is the maintenance and care of the health and beauty of trees and shrubs. We are an international organization, with offices in Canada, England and Ireland. Our Research Laboratories advises us about the latest technological advances in arboriculture and assists our arborists with training updates. The laboratory networks with professionals at universities, government agencies, and allied industry groups. This enables us to provide state-of-the art procedures and techniques to our clients. Our arborists consult with other professionals for common projects and community interests. Our unique position in the green industry helps us further arboriculture as a science and a profession. We believe in providing preventive property maintenance to avoid landscape problems or treat them proactively rather than using “reactive” maintenance methods that are driven by situations and events. I called them to see if I could save my very old but diseased hemlocks and hawthorns. They showed up promptly. The advice sounded good. Encouraged me to sign a 1year contract. Then it was downhill from there. Yes, they showed up to service the property but I have yet to hear back from the arborist in over 8months. The reality was, he should have advised me to cut down the trees because they could not be saved rather than giving me a false sense of relief thinking they could be. Or at least, come and check the property rather than sending the "worker." One year later after lots of wasted money, the trees have to come down. Especially, since one of the 20ft hemlocks fell (almost hit my property) in the last storm. When I called to see if they could remove the tree from the property, I was informed, someone will call you. Still waiting for the magical phone call that never comes!!! In conclusion, yes they are a good company but don't bother if you are a homeowner. PS: I was also informed by the company when I called about the storm damage, that the arborist I did business with no longer works for them full time and they have someone specially assigned to the area. Still waiting to hear from him, too.

Because this was an emergency situation that couldn't wait until Monday, I was anxious that I wouldn't be able to find someone to help me. I had several people, including my regular landscaper, tell me they couldn't do anything over the weekend.
The people at  Bartlett understood my dilemma and responded with lightening speed. They were courteous and professional, even calling before they arrived and making sure that they provided me with an estimate before beginning any work. I was so impressed that I had them give me an additional estimate for taking down some dead oaks in my yard, so that this doesn't happen in the future, and I will be using them for that work. I felt the price was fair for the work that was done, especially given that it was a last minute call and that they showed up with a crew on Saturday morning. They are probably not the least expensive company out there but in this case you get what you pay for and that is stellar work and service.

They did a very good job.  The sales guy upfront was very wonderful and showed up the day the work was getting completed.   They worked hard and did a great job.  They were very professional.

It was a very good service. They removed a tree a couple of year ago. I felt that they were responsive. The crew who came to do the work knew what they were doing. It was a very big old tree that they had to remove and did a very good job. From what I remember they had good clean up too. They were comparable with other estimates I got.

They provided an excellent service. We have been using them for about 5 years if not longer. I like the fellow who runs the company, his name is Jack Kelly. They come out when they said they are going to come out and they do good work. They are pricey and they saved all of our Hemlock trees. They also do our Birch and Pine trees too; they fertilize them. They just take care of our trees all year around.

We have used them more than once. Cleared some tops of tree and also cut down some trees too. A crew came and they stayed for a full day. They were professional and respectful. They also came when they said would.

I worked with Mark Bruno and he is fantastic.  He is very personable and he really knows his stuff.  They are also very proactive when it comes to caring for our yard and trees.

The level of service was great.
We had contacted another tree service.  They came out and it took 4 months to get a qoute.
We called Bartlett - and within a few days Kevin came out diagnosed the problem.
We received a completely different diagnosis and I have to say it was 1/2 the cost of the other tree service.
Bartlett Tree service came out immediately and the mites disappeared.
Bartlett also treated a few other trees that were suffering from other issues plus Kevin advised us on a few new plantings that needed to be immediately replaced due to an infestation.
Bartlett is back this year and preventative treating our trees and I will say they look healthier than I can ever remember.
We are thrilled with Bartlett and plan to continue our service with them for many years to come.

I just started using them. I told them that I was really desperate since the trees were really getting beaten up. He said that he had a truck in the neighborhood that could come within 2 hours. They were indeed doing it within 2 hours as well. I have a lot of big and fully matured trees for them to work on,. They are very professional and very personal.

We had called a number of tree guys all summer. He came out and talked to me on my property and gave me an estimate and then they invoiced us at a later date and we did not even request this. They did clean up all of the branches and they took them away for us.

what I noticed that it was a huge company. They are even overseas. I did not realize how big this company was. They are trustworthy and have done a good job. We found their price to be fair. They clean up and do a very good job. I think there are reasonable also.
