TF Morra Tree Care

Excellent. Mr. Morra came first with the crew to show them what to do and at the end came to see if it was all completed. The workers were professional, knew their craft anf worked steadily.

I can't say enough about Tom and his tree crew. They were here at 8:30AM in the morning and never stopped working until after 2PM. They even made a neat wooded stump seat out of the remainder of a dead tree they needed to remove in my backyard. Punctual, neat and so pleasant to deal with and amazingly affordable!

a year or two ago these guys cut my trees.  they have done other work for me which went well.  I can't find the receipt for this job which is why I did not enter the cost of service, nor can I remember the exact date it was done, so the date I entered is a guess, because I have to enter a date.  this has been bothering me for a long time and I am just now getting around to writing about it.  on the day they cut my trees I could not be there which was a huge mistake.  before they cut my trees I went over everything very carefully with Tom.  I even drew pictures.  we used the laser pointer.  I said "cut this branch here... cut that branch there... cut this branch back a little... cut that branch back a little...," etc.  I was very specific in my instructions.  I told Tom I liked the "canopy" which was a bunch of branches and leaves which extended high over and above my back yard and patio.  I always loved this natural canopy of greenery formed by branches of trees because of the way it looked and the shade it provided, as well as the birds, etc. in the trees.  all I wanted the tree cutters to do was basically cut one side of one tree in a couple of places to balance out the shape.  when I got back home and saw what they did I was so angry.  I lost some privacy that I had between my house and the house behind me, and lost the beautiful canopy of tree limbs and leaves over my back yard and patio (because they cut too much from both sides of the tree.)  every day I drive up my driveway and see a part of a guy's house in front of me with a window above that I never had to look at before (I didn't even know the window was there.)  I sit on my patio and there is nothing blocking the sun where I like to sit.  now I have to put up a stupid umbrella if I want a little shade, whereas before I had a perfect combination of shade and sun.  I don't think Tom did the work, he probably took off to look at another job after telling his guys what to do (or giving them an idea what to do, anyway.)  I should have stood there and watched everything they did.  then I would have said "no, don't cut that branch so short..." (on one side of the tree) and "no, don't cut those branches at all..." (on the other side of the tree.)  I have been at this house for many years and my trees and privacy were permanently altered in a way I didn't want which is annoying and depressing.  my advice-- never, ever, let anyone cut your trees when you can't be there to see what they're doing.

The crew arrived at 0800 and worked until 1630 . The crew addressed all of my concerns and and listened to my instructions as to exactly what I wanted done with regards to trimming 10 large trees in my yard . I will definately use T F Morra Tree Care in the Future because of the work performed and the value of cost . Thanks Tom and Crew !

Tom is a very friendly and professional arborist. He came to give a detailed evaluation of our trees which had been neglected. On the day of the work his crew arrived on time and worked most of the day. They cleaned up well and were courteous and professional. The advice he gave will be invaluable in maintaining my garden.

He is an arborist for the Roger Williams Park in Rhode Island. They cabled this tree for me a number of years ago to make sure it lasted longer and then when it had to come down he brought the tree down for me. They are the kind of guys that climb up trees with ropes and they can take a hammer at the base of the tree and pull it up the rope to get it up to the man that is up in the tree, they are really awesome.

They had an ad in the local paper so we chose them. He seemed like a good guy and they came when they were supposed to. He cleaned up and it seemed like it was done well. They were definitely professional.

Tom was prompt, friendly, and professional. We appreciated his (free) advice and patience in a busy week, and are very satisfied with the work he did. We will certainly call on him again.

They were very reasonably priced. They were responsive during the start of the job but it took them a while to come back and finish it. They needed a different piece of equipment to be able to remove the heavy truck from the garage roof. So, they said that they would be there at a certain time and did not show up at that time during the first time. We then had to call to follow up with that. Also, they showed up two hours later during the second time. They fell off in terms of their punctuality. We would use them again in the future because now we know as to how to work with them. We got several estimates.

They were very good and we would use them again. We were very happy because they made sure to answer all of our questions. The trees look fantastic and the price was reasonable as well. We are very happy with them.

I WAS VERY PLEASED. IT WAS A BIG JOB, AND THEY GOT IT DONE IN A REAL HURRY. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS REALLY WELL. THE WORKERS WERE VERY NICE PEOPLE.
