"Mario did a fantastic job painting our new nursery - walls, trim and ceiling. After having a cancellation with another service provider earlier in the week, we contacted Mario and he came out next day to assess and quote the room. Two days later he was here to do the work - on time and on the budget we discussed. He came prepared with all of his equipment, showed us the paint color to confirm before he started and got right to work and finished in half a day! He was extremely personable and professional and we would highly recommend him for any job. We hope to work with Mario again the future!"

"Will is a good guy, who means well, and he tries hard to please, but he is a bit careless, and does not have a lot of experience with other than routine tasks.  And he refused to accept responsibility for a major mistake.
I hired Will to paint the ceiling in my living room, hall, and 3 bedrooms.  There was a good deal of water damage in some of the rooms, and a few dents in the ceilling.  He did not quite capture the technique to match the texture of the ceiling, but with some prodding and my suggestions, he kept redoing it until he got it right, generally
Apparently he never quite got the technique, because we went thru the same drill in each of the rooms.  Most came out ok after a few corrections, which he performed only when prodded. 
There was a bit of an issue of neatness.  He managed to get a light spatter of paint on a few pieces of furniture that were uncovered, and on the floor (I did manage to get it off relatively easily, but it should have been better protected).  He threw a used drop cloth over my bed when painting the ceiing, and I found the bed covered with a "dandruff" of dried paint chips.  He had painted the whole living room and hall before i noticed that he had got paint on all the walls.  He said "Oh, I thought you were going to paint the walls"... Well, I did paint them, but I had not been planning on it.
When he went to do the bedrooms, I told him that I was not planning on painting them, so could he please tape the walls before painting. Unfortunately, one of the rooms was wallpapered, so it really did need masking.  It took nearly 2 weeks to finish that room (he was sick, then I was away...) and when he got done, and pulled the tape off, the top of the wallpaper came off with it.  Not just in one spot, but all the way around the room, a colossal mess.  When I asked his what he was going to do to do to fix it, his response was "Me, fix it??? it was your idea to use tape!!"  Of course, he is no longer working on this job...  As he was packing his stuff out, he had the nerve to claim that I fired him just because I did not want to pay him.
Actually, after repeated efforts, the work that Will did came out fine (except for things like destroying my wallpaper).  Some rather severe water damage and dents were successfully covered up.  I really have become quite fond of Will, and hope he finds his niche.  But he does need to use more care, and to take responsibility for his mistakes.

They actually hung some paintings for us because we have like a two-story wall.  We live in a raised ranch, so there?s a big wall that goes from the ground level up to the ceiling of the first floor, along the stairwell, and I wanted a painting hung up at the top of that wall.  And so I called Tom and said well who do you know that can do this and he said well we do that.  I said okay.  So he sent a couple of guys out, not only did they hang the painting, they re-hung paintings that were kind of crooked.  They just took care of hanging things that required going up a ladder, like a two floor ladder, a two-story ladder.  What they did was up a scaffolding and just did it that way, which is not something that a homeowner can do.  I just keep going back to LOPCO for everything.

"Seamless. That's the word that describes both working with Jurgen at Epic Finish as well as his work installing some tricky wallpaper in a tricky spot, as well as in interior painting. A consummate gentlemen, Jurgen was fast to respond, offered a very fair price, and when I hired him, he gave his all to the project. Neat, conscientious, and a man of his word, Jurgen is everything you want when a contractor comes into your home. The project included wallpapering a bar that had been converted from a closet--and of course I picked a tricky pattern. The final job exceeded my expectations. Again, seamless. I also had him paint a guest bathroom. Here too, I picked a difficult color to cover an entirely different cover. And again, the final product is stunning. I'm already discussing future jobs with Epic--and I have to say, I'm excited about working with Jurgen again because I know the work will be in good hands. Five stars all around. "Everyone we dealt with was very nice. The painters arrived on time and were hard workers. The quote was to power wash, prime (with a heavy duty Mad Dog primer) and apply two coats of paint, however, I believe only one coat of paint was applied. I brought this up with the owner and the workers insist they put on two coats of paint, but some of the original paint showed through in spots. This means they would have had to miss the same spots each time they applied a coat of paint. The trim and siding they replaced was done well. This work was done in September of 2015 and I was assured the paint would last at least a few years. They told me the Mad Dog primer would take care of any problem areas. Unfortunately, the paint is already peeling in some areas. I sent multiple emails to the company over the past two weeks and left a voice mail. I have yet to be contacted by anyone. This is very disappointing."
