"Ryan did a great job. Showed up when he said he would, took great care in cleaning up after installing the bathroom ceiling exhaust fan I had purchased. If I need any additional electrical work, I will be calling Ryan."

"Had a Tornado hit my house and ripped out my mains power. Figured I'd upgrade the panel while I was at it and have a generator outlet installed for when I lose power again. Nick was VERY professional - gave me a quote, showed up on time, answered all of my questions, and the price was exactly where I expected it to be. Job was very well done. When the power went back on, my fridge didn't have power. He helped me pull the fridge out to find a GFI outlet, and he helped me reset it. Was really just a huge help! The guy is clearly a hard worker who really knows what he's doing. What I love is that I didn't talk to a sales guy who then sent a couple of kids to do the job. I got a quote, and the guy I spoke to did the work. That's awesome. I can't recommend this guy highly enough! Will reach out for any and all electrical work in the future."
"Dennis is the absolute best! I recently had a bathroom vanity installed, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. Dennis was professional, punctual, and clearly skilled at his craft.
Dennis paid great attention to detail, ensuring the vanity was perfectly aligned, securely fitted, and seamlessly connected to the plumbing. The workspace was kept clean throughout the project, and everything was thoroughly cleaned up afterward.
The finished vanity looks fantastic and has completely elevated the look and functionality of my bathroom. I truly appreciate the quality workmanship and would highly recommend Dennis to anyone looking for someone reliable and efficient."
"Luis and his team did an outstanding job rewiring our entire home. I work from home, and they made sure to bring in an extension cord to hook up my router so that I never lost my internet connection. They were respectful of our home, and they cleaned up every evening so that we couldn't even tell they had been working on the house all day. They completed the entire job in only 3.5 days, which was significantly less time than we'd expected. They also fished the wires through the walls, leaving virtually no noticeable cosmetic damage to our drywall. We paid a very competitive price for the job and the exact number that Luis gave us in his estimate, even though I probably asked for a couple more new outlets than I'd originally been quoted for. Our new electrical system works great, and we feel like we have more peace of mind now. I would highly recommend LAD Electric to anyone looking for good, honest work at a fair price, and I will definitely be using them for any and all electrical work should I ever need anything down the line."
"Replaced two ceiling fans (living room & bedroom) and one ceiling light fixture (dining rm). This is an old house so one fan replacement needed a bit of upgrading. By using this company, I feel very secure that my family is safe. The two electricians were very courteous and on time both visits. I could go on-and-on----ALL GOOD"
"Jason, has been an important resource for us over the last 7 years as we have renovated 2 old homes. Panel upgrades, wiring, appliance installation, stand by generator installation, electrical inspections etc. etc. He and his firm are very trustworthy, professional and skilled."
"The guys who showed were great but just to get in the door they charged $350 and the work was very minimal. Took less than an hour. While I have no issue with the work they did, I feel that price was absurd. They could not even do one of the jobs I needed done which was the specific reason I called. I had explained it clearly on the phone before they came, so I believed it could be done by them. Then I discovered they are not allowed to do that work. While it maybe have been a misunderstanding, I did expect the $350 would cover that that job, which again, was the most important thing I needed for them to do. $350 for less than an hour of work and literally doing two small things (light switch and outlet connection - not install but just connecting them as the contractor did not do it) is insane. Had I been told that they may not be able to connect the exhaust fan, that there was even a chance of that, I would have told them not to come."
Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts
WD-40 in its liquid or aerosol form is highly flammable. Using it around live electrical parts, such as a bath fan, can generate fire and a dangerous condition. However, if you follow proper safety procedures, including disconnecting the power to the fan before working on it, WD-40 can help remove some of the grime that builds up in your bath fan.
There are many signs of a bad AC fan motor, including if the fan blades don’t spin when the AC kicks on or if they keep spinning when the AC is off. The AC fan cools down the condenser coil, so a faulty motor can also cause the system to overheat. Unusual noises in the exterior AC unit, including grinding or rattling sounds, may also be a sign that the AC fan motor is worn out.
The number of blades for your fan poses both advantages and disadvantages. Typically, the more blades on a fan, the better the air distribution and cooling effect, but this also means that your fan will have more wear on its motor. For small rooms, three-blade fans should work fine. For larger areas like living rooms, four or five-blade fans might be the better option.
Most people describe the sound of an unbalanced ceiling fan as a buzzing or grinding noise. This is caused by the parts of the fan rubbing or rattling against each other as the blades spin. However, a wobbling fan can also make squeaking, rattling, or thumping sounds, depending on the severity of the balance issue.
Before committing to this new project, you’re likely weighing the pros and cons of attic fans. The good news is that typical roof vents can only ventilate 150 to 300 square feet per unit, whereas a single attic fan can circulate enough air to vent an entire attic. By moving large volumes of air within and out of the attic space, an attic fan can lower the temperature by 15 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and reduce moisture to prevent mold and mildew.
