"In all fairness to the company our chimney was in dire straights & we needed a cap but they recommended a chimney liner for the price of $2,000 . That didn?t include any masonry work that needed to be done . I had other quotes that included the liner & all the masonry work for the same price . Plus I was overcharged for the chimney cap . I would not recommend Paramount ."

"Chimney experts was very professional in both scheduling and the job. Al was very thorough to not only look at the chimney, but also to stay with me until we had fully built a fire and had it burning long enough to run a full test of the appliance. Would highly suggest for inspection and installation- they know the business well."

"I was having problems with smoke from my chimney not venting properly and hired North American Chimney to check it out. They cleaned my chimney, fixed the problem and replaced the internal liner. Problem solved! The crew did a great job. Arrived on time and left my house clean. They explained everything and seemed very knowledgeable/ professional. I have used a few other chimney companies in the past but North American Chimney was a cut above. Definitely recommended!"

"Mike and Santi arrived exactly when they said they would. Upon inspection they went over exactly what needed to be done and included pictures of our damaged flue liner. We had a mama Racoon and her babies living in there! ð ¬ once they finished their inspection they went over the details and came out later that evening to complete the job. Mike and Santi worked very well together. They were both very professional, respectful and got the job done! I highly recommend Shamrock for any chimney repairs that you might need! When they finished the job they also included pictures. They also cleaned up everything and left our furnace area cleaner than before!"

"They have a drone that took excellent photos before and after the job. The The job was to replace the chimney stack from the roof up. The chimney looks great. Unfortunately they delayed the work day 3 times, blaming each other for miscommunication. The day they finally showed up (over a month later) they requested an extra $1,800.00 blaming the other partner for under estimating the job. I regret not telling him to take his scaffolding down and leave. Nice enough guys but that was not right."

"I have been a homeowner since 1991, and this 1961 4BR colonial is home #6. I am an engineer and always leave the homes I've owned - especially the systems - better than I found them. We have made many home improvements, including finishing the basement and expanding the heating system from 1 to 4 zones. The heating system and flue is serviced annually. After a long stretch of cold weather, we noticed a smell of oil in the basement. Certified Chimney Inspections (http://www.certifiedchimneyinspections.com/) responded promptly and professionally to my request for emergency service. Around sunset on the first day, they diagnosed that part of one of the clay chimney liners had collapsed, partially blocking the oil flue. On the second day, they arrived shortly after sunrise and worked 10+ hours to install a metal chimney liner and got us up and running by sunset. Both the on-site and office crews were incredibly helpful, respectful, and responsive, even providing original photos for a my homeowner's insurance. I would highly recommend Certified Chimney Inspections to anyone with routine or emergency chimney or masonry issues."

Chimney Liner Installation questions, answered by experts

You’ll know when it’s time to replace your pool liner because there will be visible cracking, tearing, fading, and/or staining. You may also notice that your pool liner has lost some elasticity, and it may even start to leak. It’s a good idea to call in a pool repair professional to see if a repair is possible and worthwhile. If it is, you might spend a few hundred dollars and get many more years of enjoyment out of your pool rather than spending thousands on a full replacement.

Reasons include repairing damage, upgrading aesthetics, adding safety features, or including modern technology for improved pool functionality.

Costs range from $25,000 to $50,000, depending on size, design, and additional features.

Yes, small pool leaks are fixable with waterproof patches and sealants. It is always best to avoid draining a pool if you can, since doing so safely takes time, patience, and a whole lot of water to refill it. Larger pool leaks may require draining, but in this case, it's best to call in a professional.

Yes, you can DIY a pool liner, with careful planning, measuring, adherence to a step-by-step process, and a few helping hands to get the job done. Keep in mind that the type of pool liner you choose could impact how easy it is for you to install. For example, beaded and J-hook liners hook to the edges of the pool either via an allotted bead receiver or hook. Overlap liners don’t use clips and can easily drape across your pool frame without an exact fit.
