"Chimney experts was very professional in both scheduling and the job. Al was very thorough to not only look at the chimney, but also to stay with me until we had fully built a fire and had it burning long enough to run a full test of the appliance. Would highly suggest for inspection and installation- they know the business well."

"In all fairness to the company our chimney was in dire straights & we needed a cap but they recommended a chimney liner for the price of $2,000 . That didn?t include any masonry work that needed to be done . I had other quotes that included the liner & all the masonry work for the same price . Plus I was overcharged for the chimney cap . I would not recommend Paramount ."

"I was having problems with smoke from my chimney not venting properly and hired North American Chimney to check it out. They cleaned my chimney, fixed the problem and replaced the internal liner. Problem solved! The crew did a great job. Arrived on time and left my house clean. They explained everything and seemed very knowledgeable/ professional. I have used a few other chimney companies in the past but North American Chimney was a cut above. Definitely recommended!"

"Mike and Santi arrived exactly when they said they would. Upon inspection they went over exactly what needed to be done and included pictures of our damaged flue liner. We had a mama Racoon and her babies living in there! ð ¬ once they finished their inspection they went over the details and came out later that evening to complete the job. Mike and Santi worked very well together. They were both very professional, respectful and got the job done! I highly recommend Shamrock for any chimney repairs that you might need! When they finished the job they also included pictures. They also cleaned up everything and left our furnace area cleaner than before!"

"They have a drone that took excellent photos before and after the job. The The job was to replace the chimney stack from the roof up. The chimney looks great. Unfortunately they delayed the work day 3 times, blaming each other for miscommunication. The day they finally showed up (over a month later) they requested an extra $1,800.00 blaming the other partner for under estimating the job. I regret not telling him to take his scaffolding down and leave. Nice enough guys but that was not right."

Chimney Liner Installation questions, answered by experts

Permits ensure compliance with local ordinances, mainly if structural changes are involved or when modifying property water systems.

A pool remodel can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, with a typical project often lasting between four and eight weeks. The final timeline can vary significantly depending on several factors, including the project's scope, the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, design inclusions, the availability of materials, your pool remodeler’s schedule, and weather conditions.

Swimming pool liners are typically made out of vinyl, or you can commonly find PVC pool liners. These two liner materials are low-maintenance, making them easy to care for. Vinyl pool liners are common for residential swimming pools, while PVC liners are popular for commercial swimming pools. Both options are highly customizable to fit various sizes and shapes of pools.

While you can perform some repairs to a pool liner without draining the pool, you’ll need to empty it to remove the old liner and install a new one. Since most pools don’t have a main drain, you’ll need to use a submersible pump or pool cover pump to drain the water. If you are installing a new liner, be sure to assess and repair the pool walls and floor to ensure a good installation for the new liner.

It’s best to avoid having wrinkles in a new pool liner. Since pool liners are very thin, it’s easy to have slight wrinkles in the liner upon initial installation. This might negatively affect your pool’s visual appearance and lead to tearing and holes in some cases. You’ll want to ensure proper measurements and accurate alignment during the installation process to prevent unsightly wrinkles from appearing.
