"Very professional, on time (early!!), great customer service. Price competitive compared to other contractors for asphalt paving and cobblestone edging of our very large driveway (over 4300 sf). Eric was very personable and kept his agreements. Lee showed up with a crew of 6 workers and really got the job done quickly and professionally. The only sacrifice is, with more than one worker working on the same line of cobblestones, they had to meet in the middle, resulting in some stones needing to be cut smaller to fit in along the edging. Not a real problem unless you're a perfectionist with a bit of ocd tendencies (me? lol). Otherwise it looks & works great. Expensive, but money well spent, a real upgrade in curb appeal."

Personally I like to meet the people I’m hiring in person to get a feeling for them. Of the three contractors I called the others wanted to do estimate over the phone. They also took 3 days to respond. Bill’s price was competitive but the service was outstanding. Bill and his sons were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. And they have all sorts of machinery. It went VERY WELL! We'd gotten an initial quote early in the spring and then revisited the idea with him during the summer before going ahead. We were both flexible in terms of time frames which made it easy to work in some additional landscaping at a reasonable additional charge. Most importantly, Valter was very accommodating with my erecting a decorative concrete block retaining wall around the base material before the final pour of the driveway slab. His crew alternated work days around my weekend efforts. I couldn't be happier with the final result.
