Personally I like to meet the people I’m hiring in person to get a feeling for them. Of the three contractors I called the others wanted to do estimate over the phone. They also took 3 days to respond. Bill’s price was competitive but the service was outstanding. Bill and his sons were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. And they have all sorts of machinery. Andrew and his crew removed the old stone, leaving just enough for a new base, installed new weed barrier, increased the size of the new stone (good move) and added a lovely cobblestone lip in front of the garage.
