"I can't speak highly enough about this company. When I called to arrange an on site visit for an estimate, they showed up on time and listened to everything I had to say about the job. I was given a written quote on the spot (something I rarely see from contractors), so I offered them the job. To my surprise, he said he could get started the very next day (a Saturday) and that they would be able to finish the following Monday when the deck had dried off. They arrived to start the job when they said they would, and got to work right away. I was concerned I would need to move the stuff we have on the decks, but they told me they could simply move them to the side and then move them back when they were done. They did exactly that, and everything was put back to its original position when they were finished. They were power washing all day, and were very thorough. When they came back two days later, they again went to work right away rebuilding the stairs and water sealing the deck. The stairs look great! They even added a step so the bottom step could sit more securely on the concrete (it had been resting on a cinder block before being rebuilt). They advised to wait 1-2 days for the water sealer to dry before using the decks, we paid them, and they did a great job cleaning up when they left. I wish all contractors we hired were as efficient and straightforward as the people working at Melvin Power Wash. I will absolutely call on them again when my decks need maintenance, or if my house needs a wash."

"Bob Griffin is a true professional. A list of projects he completed on my home follows . Note that I was "5-Star" impressed with his work in every area. - Soft wash of roof, exterior siding, and patio - Apply two coats of Cabot's bleaching stain to home exterior - finish all fixtures (hinges, handles, and all fixtures) - Caulk and / or putty all areas exposed ( cracks, splits, etc..) - He was hired to "soft" power wash my home and then apply two coats of Cabot's bleaching oil to the 7 year old cedar shingles. Bob showed up. on time, worked a full day, and kept me informed of all progress. The "soft" power wash left the roof and exterior of the home in beautiful condition. He also added a soft wash of the back patio; again, it came out beautiful and was a task he threw in no-charge. He applied caulk and wood putty as required to protect any cracks or gaps in the surface. He then went on to refinish all the black hinges, handles and fixtures. These details really made a difference. I was so impressed with all of the above that I asked Bob to return to paint the cellar. Once again, Bob sought the right paint and primer for the job and covered the walls and floor of this old cellar in record time. We can not get over the improvement to the home while under Bob's control. Finally, I was always so impressed with Bob's initiative. He helped declutter the cellar before starting the paint without so much as a word. His pricing is more than fair in every way. He is a very nice man and I am happy to have met him. He strives to exceed every customer's needs. He is something special and earns 5 stars in every area."

Each time it has been with different items: I have had my kitchen remodeled,  a deck torn down and rebuilt, a new roof put on, old fencing disc arded, and a yard cleanup. The only difference in pricing was for the roofing and even though ti was more money it was STILL CHEAPER than a dumpster!!! I don't know how these guys do it, but they pickup on time, without issue andfor the cost quoted. I have turned each of my contractors onto them - now they are using them. "JJJ and there guys were amazing! From my first call to set up an appointment for an estimate through the very last touch up they were helpful, courteous, insightful, and professional. They treated me like family! We started off with a dismal, dark paneled, living room and a dilapidated sun porch that they redesigned into an absolutely gorgeous new bedroom suite! It was a pretty extensive project that included removing a set of sliding glass doors as well as quite a few windows before installing a new header beam.  They also installed a beautiful new hardwood floor, new windows, and doors! Then they were so helpful when it came to choosing colors and the finished paint job was incredible. I can't wait to have them remodel my antiquated avocado green bathroom in Spring 2015!
