"

I highly recommend A Finishing Touch Painting and Powerwashing. Matt, the owner is very prompt, friendly, professional and went above and beyond my expectations. He is very easy to work with, honest and very reasonable. We had an older house that needed painting to get ready to sell and he went over everything we wanted done and gave us his expert opinion on what we should do, not "overselling", being very honest. We actually ended up doing less than we thought we needed to. He is very knowledgeable and communication is great. The work was performed promptly and the painters did an excellent job in prepping, painting and clean up. I would not hesitate to use his company again and highly recommend their services.

"The team provided a reasonable fix cost and excellent service. The project consisted of two phases: 1. Re-level existing parking space and added fresh gravel; 2. Created a level landing pad on a sloped yard for a shed. I would hire again."

"The cost of the masonry service was $1500. The cost of service for the concrete patio work was $3000. They did a nice job. There were no issues. I would use them again in the future, but I haven't been able to get in touch with them since then. When he was doing the work for me, he was great and very responsive. But he has kind of fallen off the radar; I don't know if he's still in business. He does what he says he is going to do when he is going to do it."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.

The disadvantages of sandblasting are noise, mess, and risk. Sandblasters are louder than chainsaws and spread debris on the ground and through the air. Let your neighbors know that you're sandblasting so they can prepare. Sandblasting can damage your property if not done properly, so thoroughly vet any pros you talk to before hiring.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.
