"Tom Hawks had the best pricing out of the 4 people that I had come and do estimates for our requested work.  He was super easy going and easy to work with.  All of our projects were completed on time.  The hardwood flooring refinishing is just beautiful, they did a wonderful job.  It was also easy to explain to Tom what specific items I wanted for our doors (I have very specific taste) and he did all he could to make sure I got what I wanted.  Some of the pricing came in over estimate but that was simply because we did not know all of our doorways would need custom sized doors.  Tom explained that to me when I asked him about the difference in price.  Overall I was very pleased with the work that was done and would suggest Total Home Solution to others for any home remodeling needs.

"We hired Mitch and Bob to finish our basement. They gave us a good and through estimate. Mitch made a couple visits prior to starting the job to make sure we were comfortable with the design, layout and timeline and was very open to suggestions. What is great is that they only take up one job at a time and are committed to it. They were on a consistent schedule. The quality of the job is excellent and everything was very collaborative. Would definitely hire them again if needed and recommend to others. They also took care of many smaller requests we had during the time they finished our basement. "After thoroughly researching and receiving bids for our master bathroom remodel, we chose Dan to complete the work. There was certainly some hesitation to hire anyone, as we had never hired a contractor before. The hesitation quickly disappeared. Although somewhat quiet at times, Dan is professional and friendly. Dan is certainly well qualified in all aspects of a remodel job, and he really shines as a master tiler. Dan's work is impeccable. He is very detail-oriented, and understands the different challenges that can be faced during the entire process. Due to a lighting issue with the sun coming through the skylight, Dan noticed after installing subway tile on one of the shower walls that the wall was bowed, causing several tiles to be out of alignment, which was only noticeable when the sun circled the skylight, leaving a noticeable shadow. He pointed this out to us, and took the additional time to correct the issue by tearing out the affected tiles and redoing them. Dan's estimate was well below the other two bids we received, making our remodel project a great value. Dan was provided a key to our home, allowing him to come and go as needed during the day when we were at work. Dan respected our home as it were his own, and made sure the floors were protected at all times, despite the carpet being in need of replacement. I very rarely take the time to write a review online, but Dan's work is so good, he deserves it. We will certainly be repeat customers, and will be having Dan remodel our second full bathroom next year."
