When I inquired I heard back right away and Linda provided me with great info. She was very responsive without being aggressive. She set up a convenient time for me and came to show samples. The windows look great and I am really kicking myself for not knowing about this option years ago. "Zach is a hardworking and honest contractor. He replaced some leaking skylights, and repaired a section of roof that was leaking around another. He and his crew put in more than a full days work staying late to finish the job. His price was very fair and I would definitely hire him again. Of note, he also knows his limitations and did not attempt to work on a larger flat roof and gave me some recommendations for someone to call for that. Much better than working on it and having a bad outcome down the road. I appreciated this honesty."

"We think that it would be impossible to find painters who are more skillful, more dedicated to the customer's satisfaction, and easier to work with than the Ultimate Custom Painting team (Rick, Dan, Erik, and Rome). This was the third time that we have hired UCP to do interior work; and we did so because we had such positive experiences the first two times.  Once again we were thrilled with the outcome.  Our house was built in 1928 with large baseboards and window trim, crown mouldings, lots of nooks and crannies, and (lovely but hard to paint) textured plaster.  It is not, in other words, an easy house to paint.  On top of that, the areas that UCP painted on this visit hadn't been painted in at least 12 years; there were settlement cracks in the plaster, areas of peeling paint, and lots of prep work required.  And prep work, in our view, is what identifies the real professionals.  UCP patched plaster, scraped numerous areas where peeling had begun, sanded, primed, repatched, resanded and reprimed as needed.  For every hour that they painted they must have spent 4-5 hours in prep work.  And did I mention that they did this, to accommodate our crazy schedule, working full days from Friday through Monday (i.e., including Saturday and Sunday) on two successive weekends, arriving promptly first thing in the morning.  Indeed, this schedule added a certain complexity to cleanup (since we had, for example, to use the kitchen between visits) but they managed the juggling act with great skill and good humor.  The final results is fabulous.  Everyone who comes into the house comments on how great everything looks; and we can only smile and agree.  We still have some exterior work and a couple of interior rooms to do and there is no doubt that we will call UCP when the time comes. Highly, highly recommended!

"The first group went pretty well, only a minor issue or so which we then were prepared to avoid in the second installation. But, the second group was not the same experience and if we would have known this, we would have gone with another company who sold the same window. There were issues from being hounded to upgrade this group to having to contact the company as communication was poor once the order was placed to final payment questions and now a total blowing off the problem. There are product problems from a screen which was cut during installation which was promised to get a replacement in a few weeks to two window sections that have a coating issue which nothing has been done at all about resolving this. It is now 5 weeks and the last communication was a couple weeks ago that the screen was not in yet which we had to continuing try to get a response from the owner Rod McCullough just for this information. Rod needs to stand behind the products he sells and realize customers do not want to hear about his internal problems."

"I bought this as a package of f "The Big Deal".  My biggest problem was a gap under the front door at my rental property.   My tenant told me that this is much better.  For many of my windows, they told me they were too old and would have to be replaced which is probably legitimate.  They sent me a quote which I considered on the high side from past experience so I did not use them for that.  They were prompt and professional.
