This is the second time I had Bob refinish a piece of furniture. It is an antic claw foot oak table which needed a facelift! Bob stripped it and we finished in a black laquer finish! No bubbles or streaks! I highly recommend Bob and can’t wait for Bob to start my next project!

I had two interior doors which were stained/varnished a very dark brown. I wanted them to match other doors that I were refinished in the 1980s. Bob asked a few questions and provided me a price for stripping, sanding and refinishing. He came and picked up the doors at a convenient time for both of us. When it was time to stain, he called to suggest the stain color. After checking it out, I told him I thought a lighter shade was a closer match. Communication with him was very easy. He picks up the phone and/or returns calls promptly. When he brought the doors back, I was delighted with the outcome. The doors were sanded and stained very professionally AND my selection of stain color was a good choice. From start to finish my doors were back in less than 2 weeks. I am so pleased, I have told others about his service.

Bob refinished a bed for me that had been stored in the attic and had sustained some water damage. He also helped with some loose chair back. All his work was nicely done and in a very timely fashion. He picks up and delivers. I highly recommend him.

Outstanding customer service from Bob. I had some antique dining room chairs that needed to be repaired. His price was very competitive and he promised delivery within 3 weeks. I got them back in about 10 days. I also had a chair that needed its caning insert to be replaced. Unbelievable attention to detail including the stain applied to the caning. Bob is courteous, thorough, and supremely efficient. I will always use his services for my furniture repairs or refinishing. I have used many pros from Angi and he should be in their Hall of Fame.

I cannot recommend Bob more highly. We had a 75+ year-old dining room table and chairs to be stripped and refinished. We started doing the project ourselves but during the stripping process, we realized it was a job for a professional. From the first time we spoke to Bob, he went out of his way to help - making suggestions, helping coordinate logistics, really taking into account both what we wanted and the character of the furniture. When we got everything back, it was absolutely beautiful. Honestly, it was better than we even expected. We contacted multiple companies/individuals before choosing Bob, and his prices were by far the most reasonable. In fact, one company quoted us a price that was literally four times (you read that right - FOUR TIMES) what Bob charged and I cannot imagine they could have done better work. I would absolutely - and happily - hire Bob again.

Bob was fantastic to work with. He gave honest opinions about the work to be done on my Mom's 40 year old dining room set. He came out to our home to see the furniture.
