"The previous retaining wall was in rough shape. They gave us a competitive quote, came in on price, and did a fantastic job. They were very transparent about what needed done and how they planned to complete the work. We intend to have a patio installed in the next few years and will absolutely be using Wall Structures for the work."

"This was my third time working with this contractor and each project was a pleasurable experience! As was the case with the other two, they started this project on time and finished on time! All the work was done according to strict Mount Lebanon code. They made suggestions based upon their experience i.e we wanted a six foot high shadow box fence but while Mount Lebanon code allows for a six foot high privacy fence of just about any style, they do not allow, by code, a six foot high shadowbox fence. Steve Hilpert proceeded to build us a 4 foot high shadowbox fence (the maximum height allowed by code) with a custom built 2 foot high trellis section which Mount Lebanon subsequently approved. The fence looks beautiful!
I was nervous about cutting a big hole in the wall of our addition to install the sliding glass door. Now the door looks like it has been there all along! It came out PERFECTLY!
The deck is also beautiful and solid as a rock! We had an issue with the location of our two central air conditioning units off the back of the house. The other contractors (which I found here on Angie's List as well) said they would just build over these units. Not knowing anything about central air conditioning this seemed reasonable to me. Steve was the ONLY contractor who told me that you absolutely CAN NOT block the air flow above the units! Not only that, he was honest enough to tell me that moving the units should be done by a qualified HVAC contractor. Now that is a contractor you can trust!
All work was completed on time and within budget. The same crew arrived early each day and were polite and professional. The job site was spotless at the end of each day!
If you are looking for a trustworthy, professional contractor, you can not go wrong with SC Hilpert!!!"

"Phillip came out and gave an estimate. His crew was done with the fence within a week and did a fantastic job!"

"The owner was courteous and friendly, and was able to do the work quickly. I'm extremely satisfied with the work done and would highly recommend."

"The crew was on time each day. They were professional and easy to work with. They patched and painted the deck and ceiling of my garage to stop the leaking into my workshop. The job came out real good. They had to move the furniture off my deck and some woodworking equipment from my workshop all went well. The real test for this repair will be when it rains later this week and there is no more leak. I would recommend A + for your future projects."

"HE WAS PLEASANT, PROMPT, DID THE JOB AS QUOTED AND REASONABLY PRICED.AND DID THE JOB AS QUOTED

"In summer 2014 I interviewed three different contractors to replace my back porch, which had some structural problems and was in need of replacing. I decided to hire the Construction Factory because John, the owner, listened carefully, seemed to understand what I wanted, and provided an estimate that I could afford. He and his crew started work in the winter and completed the job in February of 2015. Soon after completion, it became clear there was a problem with the lattice on the porch. The rest of the porch looked great and the work they did to upgrade my front porch greatly improved the curb appeal of my house. John and I had many conversations about how to fix the problem with the lattice and John tried several things to try and make it work. We even talked about taking a different design approach. It all ended recently when we finally agreed that the root of the problem were the vinyl lattice panels themselves. We joined forces and wrote to the manufacturer. We succeeded in getting a full refund of the purchase price for the materials, getting the promise of a full refund within a couple of hours! John and I agreed that if I paid for the materials, he would install new lattice with framing. At the cost of treated wood lattice, paint, and vinyl trim (under $1000), John and his crew removed the old, flimsy vinyl lattice and replaced it with ¾” treated lattice that my neighbor and I primed and painted. John’s crew was able to complete the replacement in one day (except for some final trim at the top of the skirt, which John himself promised to return and install in the next couple of weeks). My experience with this company started out great. Although we had some problems along the way, John always stuck with it and wanted to make it right and get me what I originally wanted. The porch is already getting accolades from my neighbors. John really turned things around by being persistent, talking things through with me, and following through on what he promised. If it wasn’t for this poor material, I’m sure the job would have been completed without a hitch."

"I can't say enough about this company and their professionalism, their communication and their overall hard work to make this project so smooth. We had an entire kitchen renovation and from Day 1, they made the process easy. They were incredibly responsive, they followed up on all of our requests and needs and they were quick to fix or adjust any changes we made...even in the final hours! Noelle was an absolute joy to work with and the installers were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We'd use them again without question."
